Wild Game from the Austrian Countryside (Wild aus österreichischer Jagd) This was the best meal we have ever had, ever! The venison literally melted in our mouths. The medium-rare roasted roe deer served with chanterelle mushrooms, bread dumpling and red cabbage was absolutely exquisite, every single bite was worth it. Our waiter went above and beyond, serving us with both professionalism and genuine kindness, making the experience even more memorable.

Super nice athmosphere, very kind staff, delicious traditional food. Wienwrschnitzel and apfel strudel highly recommended.

Incredible Apple Strudel – Fresh from Their Own Garden! I had the pleasure of trying the apple strudel here, and it was absolutely fantastic! The pastry was perfectly golden and flaky, with a deliciously crisp texture. The apple filling was warm, fragrant, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice—made even better by knowing that the apples came from their own garden! The light dusting of powdered sugar and the fresh strawberry garnish added a beautiful finishing touch. You can truly taste the quality and care put into this dessert. If you're a fan of homemade, authentic apple strudel, this is an absolute must-try. Highly recommended!

Exceptional wines as expected. Great food, consistently top. Beuschl is to die for. Service was stretched way beyond it's limit today but generally OK.

Take one of the world’s great wineries and pour them in a charming picturesque garden with great traditional food.

Wow what a place. Excellent food (i had pumpkin soup, roast chicken with chantrelle mushroom risotto) & apricot dumplings. Very high quality flavorful food. Amazing setting with apple trees and beautiful flowers. A bit slow but worth the wait

Yelp
We waited for our food for an hour and a half even though we did not order anything complicated. Bad service at the restaurant.

Yelp
Frankly, Knoll Loibnerhof was not our first choice for the late October evening, as we lived in Durnstein (2 km from there), and we were looking for some restaurant in Durnstein. But it was a Sunday evening and all was closed, quite, silent. Therefore, we decided try that famous Knoll place, which is usually pretty busy ... and a bit posh. But I have to tel you, we have got the best experience. Great soups (a Fish Soup with safran, a Goose Soup with liver dumplings), Roasted Pork with Dumplings, a delicious Tafelspitz, and Plum Dumplings, hmm. All accompanied with a wonderfully fresh Gruener Veltliner Federspiel Knoll 2012. The pride of this restaurant is its spacy orchard garden, of course, but it was too late and too cold to sit outside. So we were inside this time, in a nice and clean, blue-green interier, with nice white tables. We will be definitely coming back. Thank you!
