Fantastic! Been coming here for years, and the quality unfortunately was declining. They have a new chef since may, and it’s better than ever before. Going for the second time (this holiday) tonight!

Very nice coffie bar with long tradition. Coffie is strong. There is also option for very good food. Great location in a center of beautiful Saou!

Truly original French cuisine with a small shop with a typical produce of the region and homemade paté (see photos) the decor may seem a bit overly 'France romantique' but the cooking matches of the atmosphere in sincerity and taste. definitely worth a visit even though the village is a bit out of the way

A wonderful restaurant in a super sweet town. Ordered the fish and it came magically plated with a great suite of vegetables and that fancy foam stuff that the Michelin places use- and the foam added just the right touch to the dish- that’s not always the case but the Bird on her branch did tons right. The lamb dish- for two- came out brilliantly crisp and achingly tender, no knife needed. Oh, and don’t forget to order the chanterelle pickles.

The food is really tasty. We experienced good service. I recommend to make a reservation!! Spontaneously popping in at the busiest hour is not the way to go.
