We chose Manna La Roosa to celebrate New Year’s Eve and bought tickets for the event — unfortunately, it was absolutely not worth it.
There was no New Year atmosphere at all. The seating for a reservation of 4 people was extremely uncomfortable: high bar-style chairs and a table that was far too small to fit dinner plates properly. From the very beginning, it was a disappointment. We asked to be seated on a sofa, but our request was refused.
At midnight, there was no countdown, no pause, no celebration — the DJ just kept playing as if it were a regular day. It felt like the restaurant simply sold tickets without organizing anything special, which honestly felt like cheating customers.
The worst moment of the evening was the bill. It was not split, and we had to awkwardly mark what each person ate and drank and calculate payments ourselves. This completely ruined the mood and was extremely unprofessional.
The place itself is nice and the food was good, but the service was terrible and the New Year’s event was poorly organized. They sold tickets for nothing.
I definitely do not recommend this restaurant for special occasions. Management seriously needs to improve service and event organization.
