Restaurant Maria Loretto

The food was fantastic but a little on the pricey side, but worth it given the views. The decor was a little dated (inside) but the outside patio was amazing with clear view into the lake from anywhere.

One of the best Austrian restaurants (and we live in Vienna) :) the food was superb, fresh, very well cooked, service also excellent- perfect place for a date night. Thank you!

Wonderful location in such a delightful nature surrounding. Besides the restaurant provides extraordinary service to the guests for swimming and boat rides at its own private lake zone. How nice! We ordered chef’s creation and local specialties, mixed Kasnoodles, Homemade veggie noodles and dessert Zwetsch-Tiramisu. They are all very delicious. The prices are very fair according to the quality of foods and service, of course the enjoyable atmosphere is a Plus!

This place by the lake is worth a visit. Although it was blisteringly hot, we enjoyed the wonderful courgette, pumpkin, cashew salad and pumpkin seed dressing, as well as the handmade pumpkin and sage stuffed pasta pouches. Fresh, cool, unforgettable. The lady who served us was very professional, pleasant and offered us fans to deal with the terrible heat. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

Do the shrimps with potato and also the piri-piri, brilliant! Great place!

So beautiful resturant decorated with Christmas...you feel like you are in wonderland..I was feeling so happy to see all these decorations. Food was so good ( portions are good enough) . We took starter with fish a d shared with two perso than main menu and desert. Very ni e waiter and environment.I hope to go there again.

We have visited this restaurant for a late lunch. It is better to book a table in advance because in the evening it might be quite busy. We have ordered the typical beef soup with pancake slices. It was quite salty but overall ok. The fishplate for two was a mixture of grilled sea and lake fish as well as prawns, served with a homemade sauce and parsley potato. It was a good dish, we enjoyed it together with our 2 year old. We finished our lunch with a shared tiramisu where I have bitten in the eggshell piece in one of my last spoons 🫣 not the best experience, and when I told the waiter, he replied “At least you know it is homemade”. I paid for the tiramisu as well, this experience spoiled a little bit our stay on the restaurant.

An absolutely beautiful spot! We sat outside, had breathtaking views, our waiter was fabulous along with his mustache! Our food was delicious, and the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. A great afternoon, highly recommended 👌 👍
