This is our favourite place to eat in Tübingen, especially when it’s warm enough for the Terrace. The food is modern and unique, but not hard to understand, the staff are great and I appreciate the English menu (although it wasn’t up to date when we went). I’ll be back next week! This was simply wonderful. Staying in Tübingen for just one night, we were eager to taste some regional cuisine and this place did not disappoint. The Swabian platter was amazing - a great way to sample the wonderful home-made special dishes. The space itself is cosy and the service was impeccable, warm, prompt, and knowledgeable.

Just WOWWWWWWW we just happened to be in Tübingen As I have not been there yet after only moving to Germany a few months ago and we stumbled upon this MAGNIFICENT restaurant. To say we were completely blown away by the food and service is an understatement. The range of Vegan and vegetarian foods on offer was fantastic. If my hubby could have licked his plate clean he would have and said was the best Spätzle and sauce he has had....and he is German and eats a lot of that. Our waiter was also amazing and provided above average service. We will definitely be taking a drive back soon to experience some more gastronomical magic

This is a nice place overall, but a little pricy. The portion sizes were not consistent, which is not typical for many restaurants in Tübingen. I liked my food (Semmelknödel) but my friend’s food was too little and unseasoned.

Great if you want to try local wine and kitchen! Different kind of Maultaschen (Tubingen traditional recipe) are in the menu. Staff is kind and professional. Local wine is very good. I tried a Riesling.

our starters came before our drinks, we had no cutlery, we then had to ask and wait for plates, all with the starters in front of us. there were more than enough staff and the restaurant was barely half full. i dread to think what happens when it's full. the gravy with the childrens schnitzel was awful, practically inedible but i didnt notice this until she'd finished the meal. my Semmelknudels were dry and it waz obvious the plate had been under a hot plate for too long, as the sauce had started forming a skin. there was also too little sauce for such large dumplings. i was rather disappointed, especially after enjoying our meal around a year ago. the rest of our party were satisfied with their meal but i wont be coming back to celebrate big milestones again. Also, but this is a small thing. The soap dispensers in the bathroom arent disabled friendly. my daughter wasn't able to go to the toilet alone as she wanted to because the hand dispenser required two functioning hands. i imagine this might also be a problem for older people or those with limb differences

Great restaurant with nice terrace and view of town below, food was very good German fare, lots of German pasta options ( large portions, very filling). Known for their maultaschen, which is like giant ravioli. We also stayed at the hotel which was beautiful and had great accommodations, most spacious of anywhere we stayed in Germany.

Excellent swabian food, the selection of Maultaschen (swabian version of Ravioli, Dim Sum or Momos) is outstanding. You can have the regular version, the vegetarian or the vegan version with different combinations of sides and sauces. Divine! The terrace overlooks the old town and has thus a pleasant view. Service is very friendly and competent
