Restaurant Medieval Unglerus

The goulash soup was incredibly flavorful, and the homemade potato chips were perfectly crispy. Simply the best!

Delicious food, beautiful location & helpful staff. We were a party of 16 traveling through Romania, picked this lovely place for dinner. Upon reservation, the restaurant suggested sending the meal choices a day in advance using WhatsApp because of a festival happening in the village, which we did. When we arrived, the beautiful medieval tables were ready for us, the food was served in an acceptable period all at once, and it tasted very good. The waitress was very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful time there, I recommend this place very much!

The food is OK at best but the tip was added automatically to the check, which is the only time this happened in the 3 weeks we spent in Romania. This is unacceptable, especially as we were told 20 minutes after ordering that a group had come in and we would have to wait another 30 minutes to get our food. Don’t go there, this was our worst experience in Romania food-wise.

This place is in a good location, just next to the citadel. The service was good. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had a pork neck steak that was undercooked, bloody and chewy. I sent it back and the second time around it happened again. Eating raw pork is dangerous! Cleary, the cooking was rushed.

Horrible service, extremely rude staff. Soups were delicious but the rest of the food was burnt and not good at all. At the end we had to chase down the server to be abpe to pay, as the other one would not help us. Truly despicable, especially given the prices.

This time I give 3 stars. The restaurant is very beautiful, nothing to say here. I was dissapointed of the food. I ordered fish with natural boiled potatoes. The fish was very dry, the potatoes swet without a bit of salt or any taste honestly. And as far as I know, near fish you have to have a bit of lemon also but nothing. They did not gave. My boyfriend ordered chicken with mushroom sauce and he did not liked that either. Maybe they had a bad day or something, hopefully they will pay more attention to these details in the future because it matters. Otherwise, the pancakes were excelent. I ordered them with honey and nutts and my boyfriend with choco. Amazing. 😻

Will give 3 stars because the place is pretty nice, placed right at the bottom of the church but the service is very slow,not client centered at all, very expensive for the quality of the food, I had to ask to reheat the soup, it was very cold. Aprox. 10€ for 2 soups + 2 coffee

Was worried because of the bad reviews but opted to go there as there is nowhere else in the village. Tasty sausage and homemade fries. Service was perfectly fine too.
