Absolutely outstanding. Went with friends and tried the tasting menu, loved all of it including things I wouldn't usually have ordered... It was all just so well prepared. The staff were so friendly and outgoing we enjoyed every moment of our visit. It didn't hurt that the waiters were really cute. Highlights of the night included the duck confit, the quick substitution of cheese instead of black pudding for one of my friends, and the cocktail shooters to end the night.

This restaurant right above the Village was a perfect start to our evening. The open modern interior was airy and comfortable from the moment you enter. The host and servers were very nice. My table mate was fussing over wine like he was a sommelier couldn’t decide so the server brought over all of the wine selection for him to try. The 5 course chef selection was the option decided. I would give us a good mix to try from the kitchen. While I thought it would vary between tables it seems it was all the same as the couple next to us decided upon the same thing so they always looked over at us to see what came next. Each course was beautifully plated and each meal was just enough to satisfy and timed perfectly between. It was a lovely meal and just right as we didn’t want a heavy meal to begin our night in the Village. Mezcla was probably one of the favorite meals we had in Montreal so excellent start to the trip!

This restaurant actually made me enjoy salmon which is a feat no other has accomplished in my entire life. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic and the pisco sour sans sucre was super tasty. The staff are also a well oiled machine and very easy on eyes :) They treated us to some Peruvian shots at the end of our meal. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Montreal.

We had 5-course tasting meal. Every item was so unique and nothing like the one before, it was simply unforgettable, whether duck hearts or pork with mango or many others. The staff is amazing, they'll bring you the next course explaining what exactly it is made with. The service is not annoying at all

This is an affordable five stars meal with excellent service and exuberant flavors crowned with one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Bravo!!!!! It is worth exploring these explosions of flavor one night with your family, date or friends.

Located on a quiet residential street at the Eastern edge of the Village, facing a playground, everything about Mezcla's situation and exterior screams "neighborhood restaurant" (hold your breath). As advertised, the menu features a selection of Latin dishes boasting local ingredients. However, what really shocks you here is the pricing. With a few starters and mains breaking the $20 and $40 mark, respectively, the restaurant's "neighborhood" label is out the window! Our first time at Mezcla had its shares of ups and downs. We may justify paying upwards of $100 per person before tip (no wine) for a ritzy setting or a world-class chef, and although the food tonight did show ambition and creativity, we did not feel the overall experience was worth the price tag.

I can truly say that this is my fav resto in Montreal. The pisco sour is unreal and the food is so delish. We had a 9 course tasting menu and we loved it. Service is amazing.

I've been here several times and the dishes are always outstanding! The degustation menu is always a good way to go. Lots of unique tastes to be had. And you must try their Pouding Chomeur...it's out of this world!
