While browsing the Michelin app, I came across this restaurant near my location open for lunch. My mom and I popped in on our way back from The Little Mermaid to our hotel, and this restaurant fit the bill.
I'd like to clarify and say that this restaurant was not a Michelin Star restaurant; it is on the list as a more affordable option with nonetheless very good food.
When we walked in, we were immediately surprised by the clientele. The restaurant appeared to be a business center, with most of the tables surrounded by men and women in suits. But, we nonetheless found a table and were seated promptly.
We both ordered the tasting menu, which was a very good choice. Every single course we ate shattered the stereotype of Danish food; it was tasty, fresh, and had great presentation. However, I did not like the bacon + mushroom side for the tarteletter as much because it was a little heavy. It was still good, but the salty bacon accentuated the heaviness, so we were unable to finish it.
I'd definitely recommend a visit for lunch or dinner; or any other time, for that matter. Our servers were very kind and attentive, and empty dishes disappeared quickly.
