Proof that modern Danish cuisine can be delicious, exciting, and satisfy your appetite. Our fabulous server suggested unique, tasty beverages (one non-alcoholic, one aquavit). Every dish was special and beautiful but portion sizes were normal (not tiny, like some other places nearby). Five enthusiastic stars! Exceedingly highly recommended.

This modern Scandinavian restaurant is a true gem for lovers of Nordic cuisine. During my lunch, I was particularly impressed by their smørrebrød with curried herring—an absolute delight, perfectly balanced in sweetness, acidity, and spices. Every dish reflects a strong commitment to freshness and quality, presented with elegance and refinement. The service was both professional and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. The restaurant’s ambiance is chic and sophisticated, and the Royal Copenhagen tableware adds an extra touch of authenticity and elegance. A place I highly recommend—and one I will definitely return to!

Balmy summer evening in Copenhagen. Wales in without reservations. Super cortous, lovely and charming service from Rasmus who took the effort to set us a table outside on the side walk, so that we could enjoy the evening. The food masterfully craftsmanship, the assembly of flavors true art! Highly recommend!

Hands down the world’s best “smørrebrød/frokost-restaurant (open-faced sandwiches/lunch). Service is impeccable and the smørrebrød is just at a different level.

While browsing the Michelin app, I came across this restaurant near my location open for lunch. My mom and I popped in on our way back from The Little Mermaid to our hotel, and this restaurant fit the bill. I'd like to clarify and say that this restaurant was not a Michelin Star restaurant; it is on the list as a more affordable option with nonetheless very good food. When we walked in, we were immediately surprised by the clientele. The restaurant appeared to be a business center, with most of the tables surrounded by men and women in suits. But, we nonetheless found a table and were seated promptly. We both ordered the tasting menu, which was a very good choice. Every single course we ate shattered the stereotype of Danish food; it was tasty, fresh, and had great presentation. However, I did not like the bacon + mushroom side for the tarteletter as much because it was a little heavy. It was still good, but the salty bacon accentuated the heaviness, so we were unable to finish it. I'd definitely recommend a visit for lunch or dinner; or any other time, for that matter. Our servers were very kind and attentive, and empty dishes disappeared quickly.
