Tucked away in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, this little spot could easily hold its own among Montreal’s hidden gems. It’s got that perfect no-fuss vibe… a mix of delicate ingredients, rugged 80s tunes, and mismatched dishes that somehow make total sense together.
Everything we tried was a delight. The walnut carrot cake stole the show. Maybe it was the rainbow sprinkles winking at us from the counter, or maybe it was the “oh-wow” reactions from the next table that convinced us, but either way, oh wow indeed!!!
The guedille was light and a touch watery, but the lamb skewer more than made up for it, tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor without being too gamey. The cauliflower came out bold and beautifully spiced, with a sauce so good I nearly licked the plate. The cavatelli were a miss, im sorry to say…undercooked, almost raw :( but that rich meaty ragù deserved applause.
We shared everything, which is definitely the way to do it here. The menu is playful, balanced, and full of small surprises. With kind, attentive service and a laid-back Saturday-night energy, this place is easy to love. Highly recommend and I’ll absolutely be back.
