Restaurant Orchidea Huong

Delicious food and super attentive service 🥰, this is my favorite restaurant in Wernigerode. I can particularly recommend the duck (amazing sauce), the salmon sushi and the sticky rice dessert (see pictures).

Very authentic Vietnamese dishes. Beef pho is too delicious that I forgot I am in Germany. The shrimp roll with fish sauce is a perfect match. They will give you a warm small towel for let you wipe your hand and also a sip of plum wine and fried spring roll as a appetizer. I am very satisfied with the service and food. And even they give such a nice food and service the price here is not expensive. Very impressive.

We ended up at the Orchidee Huong restaurant by chance and were warmly welcomed. After a delicious welcome drink and a greeting from the kitchen (sushi), we were able to enjoy the combination of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Both the food and the service were very good. We would love to come back.

The food is absolutely delicious! The place is very nice and cozy. The staff is very nice, the only problem is that they don’t speak English at all, menu also only in German.

Food was worth every penny, service was great. We ate at the Vietnamese side. When seated we were served a small plum wine (?) After ordering we were served a small piece of sushi whilst waiting on our food. I had spring rolls & butterfish pho as entrée both were delicious I was especially suprised by the pho. The soup was a little spicy and a tad sour it was great. As my main dish I had the duck and no complaints it was tender with a little pink in the middle. Highly recommend! One small remark: The vegetarian options are limited. My girlfriend did love it. However didn't a lot of options to choose between. One can pay with EC karte (German debit card) or with cash. One can only tip with cash.

Great sushi restaurant with both a Japanese and Vietnamese menu. Best to make reservations.

Best restaurant in town. Careful selected food and well designed. Will come again
