Restaurant Palau del Baró

A truly gem! This restaurant looks like a palace as it name suggests. It offers mediterranean food in a gourmet style. The interior is very elegant and maintains a vintage style. The staff is friendly. We ordered the tasting menu which consisted on croquettes of assorted flavours (5 out of 5), razor clams (5 out of 5), prawns (5 out of 5) and brothy rice (5 out of 5). The food took a little long but it was definitely worth it. The price was a bit expensive, but reasonable due to the great quality. Overall, I think the service quality was great. I would love to come back!

Great service and traditional food on a beautiful terrace.

This location is a must in Tarragona. Excellent food combined with an authentic style. The service was excellent as well. The historic building is unique and was for us as foreigners an Event by itself.

Food is very good and well prepared. Staff are friendly and attentive. Prices more or less match the quality. The terrace is quiet and cool. Stop by.

A bit pricy but still good quality meat. We had the Entrecot and the Beef Tataki. The place looks like an 18th century small palace. It has different rooms and a terrace. We had the place almost to ourselves (kind of the vibe you get when a place is close to an end). Dish presentation could use a deep improvement. Conclusion: an OK place if you don't find anything else open.

Place is beautiful and the food menu was great, really fresh and tasty. I really don't understand the past reviews. I would definitely come back.

Great lunch menu 25€. Be ready with a good apetite as servings are large. Beautiful surroundings inside and nice terrace.

This restaurant is in the centre of Tarragona and offers a delicious menu del dia (starter, main course, dessert, bread, drinks) at an incredible price (EUR 12). In fine weather you can sit on the terrace shaded by trees. Very recommendable!

Some of the best food I have ever had in my life. Go for the paella, and try all the tapas. They are all great. Especially the callos (pig stomach), the croquetas, the salmon carpaccio, the dates with bacon, etc. And the dessert was some sort of delicious chocolate mousse. Just come here and eat to your heart's content! There is a lovely roof deck. Also, for 20 euros per person, minimum 2 people, you can get a big thing of paella and 4 tapas and desserts, with a liter of sangria. What a deal!
