Restaurant Piceri Era "Blloku"

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Era Blloku. That’s not my first time at this place, but every time people there are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. We had an excellent recommendations that made our dining experience even better. The food was spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented, full flavor, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly loved Tirana traditional casserole, Traditional braised beef casserole and selection of salads, which was cooked to perfection. The dessert selection was equally impressive.

This place should be made a compulsory part of your stay in Tirana. Just sensational. I would suggest you order some of traditional dishes on the menu. I wasn’t familiar with any of them to be honest and they were all amazingly tasty. Genuinely one of the best places I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. We came back for lunch the following day

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The menu is packed with traditional favorites, and everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The childhood flatbread and tave kosi were rich and comforting, while the peppers with scattered milk offered a unique taste I hadn’t experienced before. Don’t miss the summer curd dip—it’s light, fresh, and unforgettable! Service was professional and friendly, with the staff taking time to explain the dishes and offer recommendations. The outdoor seating at Era Vila added to the charm—peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a long lunch or cozy dinner. While the prices are slightly above average for Albania, the quality of food, setting, and service more than justify it. This is a must-visit restaurant for anyone wanting to discover the best of Albanian hospitality and flavor. Highly recommended! 🍷🇦🇱

We absolutely loved our dinner at Era Restaurant. We tried to come on a Saturday night at 21:00 without a reservation, silly us, the queue was half way down the block! Rather than waiting, we went somewhere else, but we made a note to come earlier next time. Then we came back on a Monday at 19:30, still no reservation, there was still a queue, but only 2 groups ahead of us, within 15 minutes we were seated. We were disappointed with our top two choices were sold out for the evening, the beef pie and the scaloppine. But it was meant to be as we ordered the most tender, juicy, delicious lamb shank I have ever had. It came with 3 very small potatoes (wish there were more). We also ordered the knitted salad, was very good too! And the cream of chicken soup, also very good. Service was attentive, aided by a button to ring the waiter. If in Tirana, you need to come here! And make a reservation!

This restaurant was absolutely fabulous and one of my highlights during my stay in Tirana. It was so good in fact, my friends and I returned for a second dinner. All of the food was incredibly flavourful and delicious and I have a new love for Albanian food! Service was great. We did have to stand in a short line the first night (a Wednesday evening in July) because we did not have a reservation. A table for 5 only took around 25 mins. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had to queue to get a table. One of the best meals that we have eaten in Albania. So much choice. But what we had was delicious. The stuffed aubergine were so mouthwatering and the beef shin braised in red wine in pastry (pie) was so succulent.

Had lunch here and had a truly wonderful experience. This place serves traditional food as much as you can in a city with great ambiance and friendly and helpful staff. I choose to go early because it seems to be always full and I don't make reservations lol.. the drinks, the food and the staff were amazing, they accept credit cards, had a number of dishes from the family soup, lamb sausages, a salad, pork and grilled lamb (see pics) will definately go again and try some more.

This food and place was so amazing. Every dish tasted distinctly delicious and had different flavours. If you want to taste delicious Albanian food, then run, don't walk here. As a warning, there's a lot of veal on the menu but the lamb sausages I had were equally amazing.
