We come every year, and are happy to be semi-regulars. It's a great restaurant in the National Park and should be enjoyed by all.
That said, having been the last 4+ years it's disappointing that the menu doesn't change much. It's great to see new wines, but their markup is outrageous ($85 on a $21 bottle of rose). Also, running out of the porterhouse (their marquee steak) by 7 on a Saturday in July is the kitchen's fault and shouldn't happen. I happily ordered the steak and lobster feature instead (but was still a little bummed to be subbing a 24oz steak for an 8oz one), and got the last bits of lobster that were left in the kitchen it seems. It was a paltry amount of lobster (I wasn't expecting an entire lobster tail on it, I literally got three pieces of claw meat on top of my steak). It was tasty, but at $75 it's not unreasonable to expect a little extra. My wife's pasta was excellent, the tableside Caesar was excellent as well.
Will we give it another shot when we come next year? With the Post looking great, we're happy to see some competition that might give Pietro a much-needed kick of inspiration. We'll give them a year to see if they find it.
