I loved this restaurant. if I could have eaten here every day I was in switzerland i would have. It has excellent views and fresh, more healthy food than most restaurants in Switz... ( or Germany/ Austria where I was also drowning in meat + potato heavy meals). They had many diverse options that tempted me, from warm goat cheese salad, to lamb & chickpeas, falafel, caesar salad, pastas, and many more.
I had a gazpacho as app plus the main corse of seared fish accompanied by mushrooms, misc vegs like eggplant and gnocchi. Everything was flavorful and the service was great!! It was about 50 francs for my 2 plates and iced tea, for sake of reference.
TIPS: (1). Right past the bearpark bridge there is a steep path that you can walk up the mountain. Or you can take 2 buses if you cant walk up. The time it took to connect buses (10-15 min) was a bit ridiculous compared to the under 5 min walk path.... i didnt know the path was there until I was leaving or else I would have just done that.
(2). The rose garden is really cool.... I have never seen around 50 different rose varieties in one place before and its worth a walkthrough. And its free.

(3) There is a playground within sight of the restaurant, where you could let your kids burn off energy while you relax post dinner. slides, swings, etc.
(4). To the reviewers that said service is terrible.... i have found that Europe has an expectation of relaxed, leisurely customers. If you dont want to sit and chat at length you have to be direct about flagging down the waiter and asking for your check, another drink, etc. If you dont say what you want or need, they assume you are content to sit there forever chatting and will not move you along the way American service does.
(5) If you want one of the best views, reserve your table. You may also want to specify sun or shade, if it matters to you bc most tables were one or the other. I walked up with no reservation at exactly noon.... Many tables were marked off as reserved but I was still content to sit 3 tables back from the edge, the view was still amazing.
