I visited Sa Nacra with a group of 4 (I am a pregnant Black woman) on the 20th of July at 2pm. We were told the restaurant was full but that we could wait 30 minutes. After waiting about 20 minutes, a different waitress told us they were taking reservations only and could not seat us. Moments later, a party of 2 who arrived after us was seated without any explanation.
This felt inconsistent and deeply upsetting. Standing and waiting while pregnant was already difficult; being turned away while others were seated made us feel unwelcome and possibly discriminated against.
If seating depends on reservations, party size, or anything else, please communicate it clearly and consistently to all guests. Everyone deserves equal treatment.
