In April we dined at Restaurant Sa Roqueta and had a generally pleasant experience. The setting is charming, and I’d definitely recommend booking a table outside—it’s the best way to enjoy the atmosphere, especially if you’re visiting in good weather. The service was decent—polite and timely, though not particularly memorable. As for the food, it was fine but didn’t quite live up to expectations. While everything was prepared well, there was a certain lack of depth or creativity in the flavors that left us wishing for more. Perhaps what stood out the most was what was missing: the overall vibe of the place felt a little flat. It has potential, but it needs a touch more warmth or character to make the experience feel truly special. That said, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a quiet meal. Just be sure to ask for a seat outside—that’s where the restaurant shines.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited. All the plates were a good selection, the food was exquisite. The attention of the staff and the owner of the restaurant was great as well as the recommendations they made us. The ambiance of the restaurant is very elegant and eloquent to the location of the restaurant. Excellent selection of wines and desserts.

I would suggest to check the menu before you visit. And I mean the real menu, not the one shown here on Google reviews, because this one is either old or scam. Mallorca is not a cheap place to dine, but prices of this establishment are extreme and not justified. We were sitting outside in sort of a balcony overlooking marina. Cars were passing right next to us. When we saw the prices we got just starters - 2 dishes with different style octopus. One was andalusian style with garlic. That one was ok. Not bad, not exceptional. The other one was with beans. It was 90% beans with very little octopus. Our bill was 70 euros for 2 starters. Overall I cannot see any reasons why do these guys charge from 60 to 120 euros per main dish. Passion for sea or no passion. Smells more like a tourist trap.

Amazing seafood!! The anchovies! The mussels!! The COD!! Oh and did I mention the fries with the perfectly cooked garlic? all of it was amazing. But the cod was absolutely spectacular!

I came here alone and as usual I get lousy service as a single guest. No attention at all. I think however that they pay more attention to larger groups. BUT ... the food ... I hade the trampó wich they referred to as "emblematic". Really!? It contained at least 2 deciliters of olive oil 😝. Too greasy for me.

Food is fresh and good tasting, the staff is a little bit clumsy and have problems in speaking other languages than spanish but at the end they are trying their best to understand you. The restaurant is small and hidden from sight although it has a small view of the marina . It seems to be popular do to the amount of people that have reserved tables that night. Menue is in 4 languages (ES; IT; DE; ENG) and has pictures of the fish that they serve . Give it a try and enjoy the laydback lifestyle of the locals.

Yelp
Our first choice was ola Del Mar but we didn't have reservations so we stumbled on this restaurant. They charge a cover to include olives and a huge slice of vegetarian pizza/ flatbread which was super delish. Order the mulatta paella! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Located in one of the most astonishing scene in Maiorca: Portixol, this restaurant serves one of the best tasting Paella Mulata! We were supposed to eat in another restaurant by this neighborhood but we didn't have any reservation so we walked around and so glad we did as we found this delicious discovery! Sa Roqueta serves amazing dishes and provides a very friendly service. Must eat when in Portixol!!

Yelp
I can recommend this place for the very fresh and wide selection of fish & co. If you sit outside you have a view of the Portixol marina, while tasting a fabulous fish paella. It is a little too expensive, considering that it is in a good location but the restaurant per se is nothing special...
