Restaurant Saravanaa Bhavan Masjid India

I found this place for a Vegetarian Thali experience at Saravanaa Bhavan. A 12 dish South Indian vegetarian thali with seasonal vegetables, rasam, and dry fruit halwa and sheera for dessert. And of course, no meal is done till you have a masala chai to enable a closure to the ceremony. Prompt service, no fuss atmosphere, and just food.

Outrageously expensive for a unpalatable dinner. Saltless curry dishes, rubbery naan, paneer fried rice made using 4 ingredients. In all 2 chaat, 4 naan, 1 paneer fried rice, 3 curry, 1 paneer machurian costing RM168 plus service tax. Mamak restaurant would have been a better choice for taste, value and service. My mistake.

I cannot believe it's saravana bahwan. The place is dirty, taps are broken. The staffs look unkempt. Overall I will never visit this branch again. Very disappointed.

Quality of food has dropped massively. The acar was spoil. Payasam was like water. Really disappointed with the food...

Tea is good here with fresh milk. All Indian snack items are good.

Good authentic Indian food. Flavor and portions are good too.

Nice and quiet. Good for conversations. Good service and polite staff
