The food was good, especially the veal schnitzel. The people were friendly and they were speaking English and more importantly they had an English menue. The food portion was not too big but enough to have a good meal. Reservation is recommended, however, we were lucky enough to get a table without!😊

Schnitzelwirtin in Halle, Germany, is fantastic! I had a veal cutlet (Cowboy style)that was so tasty, it felt like it was melting in my mouth. The sides were great, and they happily gave me two extra eggs. The service was awesome, and everyone spoke English and made me feel welcome. Sitting outside in the beautiful weather just added to the whole experience. Definitely recommend it!

The cowboy schnitzel and the Wiener schnitzel original were outstanding. We were seating outside in the biergarten on a sunny day and it was really pleasant! The waitress was very kind as well and we can only recommend it!

My colleague who lives in Halle recommended this restaurant. Food is very delicious. You can not enter without reservation case by case.

I had a cauliflower schnitzel and it was the worst meal I've ever had in my 25 years experience travelling around Germany. I waited for almost half an hour for an army slop. Very nice wait staff though.

Very friendly place offering Schnitzel (pork cutlets) in various combinations. These they do very well indeed. They offer XL versions as well, but the "normal" size is very generous. Go there if you like schnitzel and you won't be disappointed. Vegetarians have few options. It's popular, reservations are recommended.

Very nice place, food is delicious and very big portions. I was sure to come more often and to recommend it to friends until the bill... We asked two plates and to replace the pork schnitzel with a beef one, for personal reasons. The original plats were one 15€ and one 13€. We payed extra 6€ each for the replacement. I found this it not fair because is not an addition but a replacement, we didn't get the pork schnitzel so they should have just to replace it. Or they should have told as before. I don't think I will come again, unfortunately.

Worst experience ever. They wouldn’t seat us because it was 1 adult and 1 child and we are clearly not German. Four empty tables had “reserved” signs but two Germans walked in after us were immediately seated. They did not have reservations because I do understand simple conversation. When we asked for a table, we were told it would be a 40 min wait. Decided to take my money elsewhere and left the door open on the way out.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible service. The waitress told my friend that they closing in 10 min when he was half way through his meal. When he confronted her that in fact we had 20 min before they close she turned around and gossipped about us with her colleague 5 meters away. We both had schnitzels. The waitress forgot to mention that veal schnitzel is double price and btw it's not indicated on a menu. The food itself was average at best. Save your money.
