We loved this restaurant but not sure about vegetarian options. Had a great meal at a very reasonable price. A little hard to find as it's in a small courtyard. Great service. We booked online which is always helpful.

Starter was great, main and desserts were okay, although the overarching issue was how in-attentive the staff were. They left us waiting about 1hr between courses which is inexcusable. We will not be coming back.

Excellent well-prepared food. Fish was fresh. Duck was uniquely prepared. Side of ratatouille was excellent. Called La Nocturne now. We stumbled into this place when looking for a neighboring restaurant that was full but so glad we ate here!

Such an amazing experience! The food was amazing and the wine was lovely, and they undercharged us after we couldn't speak decent enough French and accidentally ordered bottled water! The rose to take home was a wonderful touch.

Extremely good. Even at past midnight, you could eat. Lovely place. We were the only two that late night. Clear, cosy and romantic. Fresh products, nice attendance. Tasty. My girlfriend said orgasmic. Served by the Chef himself. Not as expensive as it should be. A place to recommend, no doubt.

I’ve got a great story about this place. My wife and I are from New York City and we were in Nîmes for our anniversary. We left our hotel around 9pm to get some dinner (we are used to “the city that never sleeps”) but we realized that every restaurant was closed! We were devastated. Then we found one place on the map that was still open - Le Nocturne. It was a bit far, so we were skeptical... When we arrived, the server and the owner gave us a warm greeting and sat us downstairs. The restaurant was modern and charming, and we noticed a beautiful piano in the room (we are both musicians). We asked if we could play it and the owner said “bien sûr!” We played and sang while they prepared our order. Then the owner sat down and played his own classical inventions on the piano while we enjoyed an incredible meal and an incredible bottle of wine. We spoke with him afterward and heard about his restaurant’s heroic journey through the lockdowns of the pandemic. The whole night was magical. We thought we’d be eating complimentary cookies at the hotel and ended up having one of the best restaurant experiences of our lives at Le Nocturne.

This is a restauarant that deserves a visit if not two Michelin stars. French and Italian cuisines can be very parochial and limiting but this is cooking at its best infused with ideas and ingredient combinations from elsewhere. We Well done chef.
