Restaurant Silo

Terrible value for money. We ordered the set menu, but one course was completely missed. The staff only acknowledged this shortly before we had to leave — too late to serve it — so we never got to try it. The food itself was extremely underwhelming. One dish consisted of a single boiled asparagus spear with a basic hollandaise and a few almond petals — a laughable effort for a 625 DKK menu. The beef course was similarly unimpressive, barely above canteen quality. Only the dessert showed some promise, but it wasn’t enough to redeem the experience. We left the restaurant still hungry. Service was painfully slow. We had to push the staff to bring out dishes just to stay within a reasonable two-hour window — and that’s with only three out of four courses served. It feels like the restaurant is relying entirely on its stunning view to attract guests. With food menu this poor, it’s hard not to feel taken advantage of. A real disappointment.

Silo exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic, but what truly made our visit special was the exceptional service provided by the lovely Eva and the team. Their attentiveness and friendliness created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Plus the view was amazing. Thank you, Silo, for a memorable dining experience.

Terrible experience. Service the worst. Food not worth it We arrived at the place with a reservation at 2:15pm for lunch on Sunday. They came to us at the table at 2:26pm only to tell us that the kitchen closed at 2:30pm, so if we wanted to eat we had to be quick or leave without food. We even had to order dessert at the same time. There was not all the plates available on the menu for everything they had (taking into account that there were like 5 options). They brought us the food. We had not finished eating when they brought us dessert. I had not even finished my beer when they brought me coffee. I ended up with food, dessert, beer and coffee that I had to eat at the same time. They also told us that the bar would close so if we wanted to drink something else we had to order it immediately. We ended up leaving the restaurant in 1 hour maybe maximum. The waiters were pathetic and rude, impersonal. The view is beautiful but there are places with better views, decent treatment and delicious food. It is not worth paying the price they charge. I ended up coming home with a stomach ache, I don't know if it was because of how quickly I had to eat or the food. Bad experience

A sharp retake on the classic Danish open faced sandwich. Fresh produce, everything home made. A nice selection of beers, schnapps and wine. Stunning views of the harbour. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Sweden.

I went there to celebrate julefrokost with the company. I think the amount of food is way too little 😳 I know fancy places limit their serving amount, but at least I shouldn't leave a restaurant feeling hungry... The food was good though and so was their signature cocktail. The view and atmosphere was also good. The service was good but not the speed. I don't know if it was just because of how busy they were at the moment I was there, but I had to wait like 15 minutes to get a drink.

The restaurant sits atop the building right next to Copenhagen's bustling port, offering one of the city's rare rooftop views - at least as far as I know. Inside, the design is sleek and minimal, letting the panorama do most of the talking. We went for lunch and opted for the chef's choice of the day-solid pick, definitely worth a visit. Yet, in my opinion the view is what steals the show.

A once in a lifetime experience or if you are a lucky Dane, a birthday treat. Moody lighting, artisan ceramic tableware, plush club seating and a friendly fine dining atmosphere. The staff gave us the full experience even though we were clearly new to the scene. Many families there so quite a democratic atmosphere not stuffy at all. The scenery is breathtaking and the food was succulent, flavoursome and stunningly presented. A bit hard.to get to without a car, it was quite a dark cold walk back to the train station.

The view and location are undeniably striking — The Silo has atmosphere in spades. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting, and service repeatedly overlooked our table.
