Restaurant Syr

Amazing food. Beautifully composition on the plate and delicious taste. The service was good, with nice explanation of the food. Love that the food is organic, local and even the mushrooms were gathered by themselves.

It was a wonderful experience when we cane in into the place. First impression was this is a home dining but also it looks fancy. We were given a starter which I forgot to take a pic of. The waitresses were super kind and the chef himself came out at some point to explain one of the dishes. The waitresses explained well what we ate and that was amazing. Every meal had an introduction. You could choose from 4 courses to 6 courses and the last two were desserts. The 4th was the main course. The courses apparently change every time /week but they are amazing too. It was so professional of them to always want you to have the best experience and kudos to the chef that surprised us with these sauces that or aged the plate. Con’s I had a dirty fork but that was replaced really fast because of the good service The price was fair but for fine dining and service like that, it was okay. Overall This was a lovely food adventure and a lovely restaurant to take not only your loved ones but everyone you know.

This restaurant is located in a side street the city centre. The restaurant feels atmospheric and intimate. I took my sisters there for a belated birthday dinner and I have no regrets. The service was spot on. The waiters did there best to make you feel comfortable and were super friendly. And the food was amazing. It was flavorful and beautifully plated. You can indicate your dietary requirements and the chef will adjust the menu to your liking. I would highly recommend eating here. I know I will come again!

This was, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences of my life. The restaurant has a calm and cozy environment, the staff is very kind and they really enjoy what they do. Every dish used fresh, unexpected ingredients and had a perfect blend of flavors to make every bite delicious and interesting. I also loved the drinks pairing with the dishes, it really elevated the experience. SYR is a must-go in Utrecht, thank you so much for the night!

It's a fine dining experience with a set menu of 4,5 or 6 courses. The service was great. The food was quite good as well.

This place was wow... the atmosphere was nice,staff was on point but dam the menu... we called to make an appointment and on arriving we were given the menu. And I am still looking for the food.. I guess it's a whole vibe.. putting it mildly it was a waste of walk and time. We had a drink n tried there balls,pay the bill and left and found somewhere we could actually eat.. if your in the whole eccentric modern type or vibe then that's your place..

Syr is a fusion kitchen serving mainly Syrian food but with different cultural touches. They have vegetarian options as well as non veg. We tried the lunch menu: soup of the day, humus salad and pancake with banana with date syrup and they were all delicious. Syr is also a part of an organization that helps displaced people and organizes events. Also the interior design is very friendly and cute. I suggest you drop by sometime, it is also located at the center of Utrecht very close to Dom Kerk!

Really loved the experience there: the service was welcoming and hospitable, the food kept on surprising with the taste combinations and diversity. All the food is vegetarian which is a big plus if you don’t eat meat. I tried the Barbera wine and totally advice to get it - earthy yet fruity at the same time. Thank you SYR, 10/10 recommend.
