Great service, and amazing portion sizes. Perhaps a little bit more expensive than other places nearby, but it does have a good view over the well preserved UNESCO ruins of Ancient Messini

After visiting the impressive site of Ancient Messini, we stopped at this taverna to cool off a bit and have a bite to eat. Not only did the terrace have an amazing view on the full site of Ancient Messini, but the food was also extremely tasty and one of the best lunches we had in Greece. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Very nice food with real greek food. The views to the ancient city of Messene are amazing from here (even more beautifull with a fredo espresso after the visit). Afordable prices an really good ambient. Stop by and enjoy

Cute restaurant with traditional Greek food, relatively cheap, very good food. Veggie options. Overlooks Ancient Messene, with a great view. Staff is friendly and speak English.

Great view of the archiological site. I was a bit disappointed that not everything from the Menü was available but the lamb and potatoes that was made up for it. Super delicious!! Definitely go there if you hungry after a stroll through the archiological site.
One tip for the owner get the dog on a leach please. It would have been a while different story if he bit me. So if you don't like dogs maybe this not for you.
