"Mesmerizing Dance Tahitian dancers, known the world over for their passion and energy, aremesmerizing to watch whetherthe dance is slow and graceful or fast and rhythmic. Though dancing is a national pastime in Tahiti, the many dance schoolsrarelytake drop-in students. Don't let that stop you. Traditional Polynesian dance performancesare fantastic. Te Tiare Restaurant, at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, offers Tahitian dance performancesduring dinner service on Friday nights. We had both dinner and breakfast at Te Tiare, and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast featured a large buffet with a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries, made-to-order eggs and omelets, fresh fruit, Poisson Cru, and much more. Dinner was also very enjoyable. I had the tuna steak, which was perfectly cooked, and my wife had the Beach Club sandwich, which she really liked.

We stopped at Te Tiare for dinner and spent a few hours there while waiting to check in at Tahiti Airport. The hotel's convenient location meant it was just a 6-minute taxi ride to the airport. The environment nice as we could sit in open air, near the pool. We were primarily after fish, and the Kingfish Tiradito stood out as the most memorable dish. It was served with avocado marinated in pistou and pumpkin seeds.

Food is very average and overpriced. Burgers, fries, chicken nuggets were decent and a safe choice. The nachos were a big disappointment. It was basically Doritos chips dumped on a platter with melted cheese and charged $30. Such a waste of money.

Came here for the evening show and dinner buffet. The show was beautiful and we loved it. 5 stars for the dancers and music players. The food however was just a completely different story. There are only rice and vegetables for vegetarian options. It was odd to be in a buffet where there are no vegetarian options. My husband and I paid $212 for rice and vegetables. The waitress never brought my coffee I ordered. Another waitress just came by our table and took our salt and pepper while we were eating. We had to flag someone else to bring them back. Not a place we would return for the experience we had.

Atmosphere is good because it's in front of the pool area and breeze from ocean comes thru. Food and service is terrible. Welcome bread was hard as stone. I literally had to poke it with a knife with a lot of effort and then show it to the waitress to explain the state of things. After which, the dessert came before main course. We had to send the dessert back. Buddha bowl was average. Service was lackluster. If you took time to read this review, please save yourself from this restaurant.

Genuinely a great experience and great food. Definitely recommend this restaurant as one of the best on the island.

View is great. Ambiance, perfect. The toast, burnt. The pancakes, awful. The fruit plate, no berries, no bananas, no kiwi. The omelette with onions and tomatoes was the only thing I liked. Also, no iced lattes or matcha. Wouldn't eat here again.
