Restaurant Tizne

Great experience at Tizne. We visited as a group of 46 people, and every single one of us left genuinely impressed. Mexican food on another level, a must for people that love mexican food. We had the 8-course tasting menu and paired it with their recommended wine pairing, which was a highlight in itself. It was especially fun to discover some good Mexican wines alongside the dishes Highly recommended.

Tizne is a fantastic Mexican restaurant which serves some top notch food. The sharing menu was very well thought of and execution was great too. The Carnitas were my favorite of the tacos. The service personnel were really friendly and calm too. Their cocktails are amazing and so is their Mezcal tasting. The staff explained all about the history and culture around mezcal production really well. The restrooms are very clean, but could definitely have an upgrade of automated lights since it's a bit of an hazzle to actually find the buttons when you enter. I really hope this restaurant gets a Michelin star because it deserves one. Overall a great experience and will definitely go back here!

Had an amazing time here especially with our amazing waitress Shirani. We were supposed to come in a big group but Shirani helped us sort it out and was super patient and accommodating throughout our entire dinner. The food was absolutely amazing, we tried both the sharing and special sharing menu.

Overall it was a great experience. Mexican cuisine is amazing and Tizne takes it to another level. My only remark is that this is not a place if one is really hungry. Portions are small and for the prices, I'm not sure if I think it was worth it. I came across the restaurant on Social media. Of course highlighting everything but it was like a "almost there experience" The service is excellent. Professional and our waitress did in fact take the initiative when realizing I was still hungry after the "5 course dinner" (note it was more like 5 small tapas) and she brought some more , emphasizing the importance that the customer shouldn't leave hungry - that's a 10/10 move for sure! I've been to Mexico and for me it was great to experience a authentic restaurant in Gothenburg, but the Portions was more "Swedish" then Mexican:) Two persons, we spend 2750 SEK Worth it? Food and beverages alone - no - great taste but small bites only. Felt cheap almost Thats a 3/5 in my books But due to the excellent service I have to give this restaurant 4/5

We had a Valentine's Day menu at Tizne, and my first impression was that it had a very luxurious feel, and I really liked the interior design. The food came out, and it was quite spicy, which I personally enjoy, but I can imagine that many might find it a bit intense. That said, it's a Mexican restaurant, so I think the spiciness is part of the experience! My overall experience with the food was that a lot of the dishes centered around various types of chili and sauces. While I appreciate that, I would have liked to see more finesse in the dishes with a wider range of components. I’ve read that many people feel they don't leave feeling full after dining here, and I can understand why, as the focus seems to be on sauces rather than the main components of the meal. My favorite dish was the grilled lobster and the potato rose, which were excellent. The rest of the dishes, though, didn't stand out as much. The wines were good, but a bit too expensive with limited options, although I personally prefer cocktails and thought they were delicious too! I don't want to sound too critical because I had a mixed experience. The service was generally good, though towards the end, we were forgotten about for our final dessert. However, they kindly fixed it and apologized, which was much appreciated.

Wow! Just got back home from a visit at Tizne with a happy and satisfied tummy. This food-experience was great and really worth the visit for our date night. We had the a la carte sharing menu, with cocktail/ mocktail. Absolutely delicious and the flan dessert surprised me with it’s taste! Although, I must say the visit would be less great without the sweet company and knowledge of the food from our waitress! Thank you again!!

We tried the Taste of Mexico tasting menu. All in all, Great experience! Staff were great too. Every time they brought out a new dish, they didn't just explain what it is, but also have us a small backstory about Mexico which created an immersion. The whole sitting took about 4.5 hours and we were very satisfied. Money well spent! :)

Finally some decent mexican food in Göteborg. Haven’t tried the tasting menu yet, but pretty much love everything on the Taco Sharing menu. And the staff is super nice! Love.
