A really good dinner tonight. We didn’t book (strongly recommended) but they were able to squeeze us in. Had a lovely beef tartar, Swedish Arctic char and Swedish potato dumplings filled with pork. Overall very tasty. Pricey but worth it. Lovely service with smiles all round.

If five star reviews were actually five star reviews, this restaurant deserves one. The best fish I've had in ages, and the quality to price ratio is superb (starter, main dish and wine for 400 sek is rare). If you want to try good Swedish food this is the place.

We had lunch there and the food was amazing! It is a bit expensive but I still highly recommend. They serve Swedish traditional food and after ordering they will serve you some Swedish bread and it’s free. The waiters are really nice and they take care of you quickly. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten in.

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous. Without a doubt the best restaurant with the nicest atmosphere and the best service we experienced in Stockholm. I advise booking as the queue was out the door when we arrived. Our waitress was excellent, extremely polite and very knowledgeable. At no point did we feel rushed thru out our meal. We all had something different off the menu and all agreed the standard of the food was superb. Try the ‘Hot Shot’ 👍🏻. A lovely experience in lovely surroundings with lovely food. I mean, what more could you ask for?

We loved Restaurang Tradition so much we went twice during our stay. The Swedish meatballs were by far the best we tried in Stockholm — perfectly seasoned, tender, and served with all the right accompaniments. The desserts were just as impressive, beautifully prepared and the perfect sweet finish to the meal. Cozy atmosphere, warm service, and consistently excellent food. A true highlight of our trip.

Possibly the best restaurant in Stockholm! Here is a very popular spot, so there’s usually a long queue outside. I’d recommend to make reservation in advance. If you’re in Stockholm and looking for the best köttbullar in Sweden – look no further than Tradition. Honestly, it tastes like grandma herself put the plate in front of you. ❤️ The lady who served us worked with so much heart and warmth, you could feel she truly loves her job just as much as I love the köttbullar here. Thank you for such a wonderful evening – an unforgettable experience in every way.

Such a delightful find. Traditional food presented beautifully. Professional yet friendly staff, happy to answer any questions. Lovely atmosphere, we sat in the spacious outdoor area. Food was amazing. If you are visiting Stockholm this is the restaurant to visit, just a short step away from the main entrance to the Palace 😊
