My favourite dining experience in Norway! We had a wonderful five-course menu that was thoughtfully curated and perfectly balanced. Each dish combined fresh, high-quality ingredients with artful presentation, exciting textures, and exquisite flavours — simple yet refined, light without excessive fat, and full of character. Our lovely host Tonje made the evening extra special with her gracious and warm hospitality. The entire experience felt authentic, relaxed, and truly memorable. I can highly recommend this place to anyone seeking exceptional food in a beautiful atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time there. 5 courses with drink pairing. The food was awesome and the service was excellent with clear explanations of meals and wines. Special thanks to Fredrikke that joyfully added a touch of conviviality that made every moment exceptional. We are more than happy to have discovered this place and recommend it warmly.

The best beef short rib I have ever had. Great mains and house cocktails too. A bit stuffy or rigid (telling us who should sit in which seat at our table) but otherwise a pleasant culinary experience. Considerate of food allergies. Reservations suggested.

We decided to spoil ourselves a little on our birthday month by having 7 course meal in To Rom og Kjøkken. I had the wine pairing while my partner had non alcoholic pairing. It was one of the best decisions ever made. From start to finish, my taste buds were jumping in joy. I haven't had such good food for the longest time. It is a brilliant mix of ingredients/texture to come up with the most delicious dishes. We truly enjoyed it. Tables were full on a Saturday evening was full but service and atmosphere were perfect. The wine pairing went very well with the dishes. My partner was saying the same for the non alcoholic pairing too. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good evening on a special day.

I know everyone recommends this place. But there's a good reason for that. It is really, really good. Every dish has an unexpected twist. Gooseberries in the sauce instead of cornichons. Roasted pumpkin seeds in the dessert. You get the idea. And the scallop was the best scallop I ever had, hands down.

A lovely dinner spot to celebrate an anniversary. Staff were friendly and super attentive. It is unassuming from the outside, but transforms into a stylish venue inside. Got the 5 course set dinner which was delicious. Highly recommend!

Exceptional service and fantastic food! From the moment we entered into the restaurant until we left the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They even surprised us with a candle on the desert to celebrate my wife’s birthday and a chocolate gift for her. Definitely recommend :)

Had the 5 course meal and everything was delicious. Their signature scallop dish is perfect and the blend of all the flavors were perfect.

This place is no doubt the best restaurant that I have ever been. We were so surprised how great the food and service was. The flavor and presentation were amazing. It was like artwork. The chef even came out to greet us. This place will not disappoint you. AMAZING!

This is a small, intimate, unique restaurant in Trondheim, dedicated to a high level of service and food that is locally sourced, beautiful, and elegant and its presentation without being pretentious. We had the five course tasting menu, which was awesome, but if I went back, I would have their signature dish as a main entrée, which is, a scallop treated like you've never seen a scallop treated before. It is succulent, mouthwatering, subtle and varied, and its flavors of sauces and worth the trip to Trondheim to try.

Amazing food with great pairing of wine. Waitress was indifferent initially but thankfully that changed quickly. We went for the three course set menu. A tad expensive but the food makes it worth it.

Food: semi traditional Norwegian cuisine. Appetizer: salmon confit too salty. Main: Rockbiter also a bit too salty, not a lot of taste, rather boring, perhaps catering to a traditional Norwegian meatballs and potato pallette. Environment: way too hot, not adequate ac. clumsy staff. music random generic pop hits. Two stars taking into account the relatively high cost of the meal.

I was a guest at a lovelly evening in this very nice and charming restaurant. We had a three meal course with wine. A team of eight people. Everyone just loved both every plate and the atmoshere of the restaurant. Very nice staff that take care of you from the moment you arrive. I didn`t pick up the bill, but I don t think it was to expensive. Anyway - just make this a lovelly evening in the nice city of Trondheim.

My main course was absolutely delicious. I took the Wolf fish with eccentric and good vegetables. Congratulations to the chef! The decoration is simple but refined. The service is nice.

This restaurant was recommended from a chief at a two star Michelin restaurant in Oslo who once worked here. What a great recommendation. Everything was tasty and well prepared. This has got to be one of the better restaurants in Trondheim. To Rom would be successful in any major city.
