Very delicious cold hot chocolate and amazing view ❤️😍🥰🥰🥰 This restaurant is just so beautiful and historical. I highly enjoyed eating here. I felt like I was transfered back in time. Love Love Love. And all personal here is very nice 😍😍😍

The staffs are nice. Prices are reasonable but the cake was industry cake not freshly baked

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The service tried hard and gave their best, we weren't missing much ... but they stayed behind their fine cuisine.

Awful head of service / chef de rang with no approachability or charme whatsoever. Restaurant virtually empty, rude reception and no intention to accommodate any wishes. We were unhappy sitting in the sun at 30+ Celsius, plenty of vacant tables but no flexibility whatsoever. Owner might consider intervening.

Positive: The garden area is very beautiful, the waiter provided us immediately with a high chair for our smaller kid and the one dish we ordered for our two kids together was served on two separate plates , which was very thoughtful Negative: Unfriendliness of the waiters, though thoughtful about the highchair and separating the food on two plates, the waiter did not smile one single time. I asked to see a bottle of wine, which I liked very much… I’m still waiting for that to happen… The place is very beautiful, but one needs to be aware of the mosquitoes in the garden area, it would be nice to be provided with insect repellent, the food is OK but except the Kalbsfleischkloesschen, nothing out of the ordinary, which one would expect for that pricing. And last but not least if in 2021 I am not able to pay with credit card but only with EC card or cash, that is rather disappointing for a place of this standard

Schnitzel was the best ever, calves liver was 5/5 all done from scratch. Service very good while wait long as all cooked from scratch. Lovely visit to Lydviglust castle and church with our dear German friends to this town of their childhood.

Good food but don't stay here if you're in a hurry
