The food has been really good. Well prepared, and good to taste. The personnel has been polite and kind. He made us confortable and has been ready to explain the menu. The restaurant is characteristic, nice, well kept and in a really nice place of Odense. Really happy to have been there

Missing this place already. Despite it being situated just across Christian Andersen’s Haus, the place isn’t commercialized at all. Simple menu, few choices but all done right. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff (and adorable dog) with cosy settings. Make sure you reserve a table as we saw many got turned away even during lunch.

Stopped by before closing for a glass of wine, stayed for many while they closed up. Sat in the back garden under cover while it rained, then moved out front when the crowds were gone. One of the oldest building on the street, many dining rooms in & outside. Excellent and friendly service.

My favorite restaurant in Odense! I always come to eat here and have brought many friends, who always appreciate the excellent food, friendly service and hygge atmosphere as much as I do. I love the idea of the tasting menu based on H C Andersen‘s fairytales, and all dishes come with a creative twist. Thank you Niels, for your hospitality!

Great danish cuisine. The owner is very kind. Whole restaurant looks like one hundred years before with that old style and furniture. I recommend it to visit 😀

We have had an unique experience in this restaurant. A wonderful evening with properly designed and prepared ingredients from their own garden. Personal attention from the owner. A place we surely want to come back to.

Neighborhood classy restaurant with prices to match. Brunch on Sunday a great treat. Atmosphere mid in H. C. Anderson's quarter.
