Vegelangelo offers a delightful dining experience with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Despite their long-standing presence, their Google reviews were unfortunately deleted. However, I can attest that their vegan truffle pasta is a standout dish, cooked to perfection with a flavorful sauce. Their menu features a variety of delicious plant-based options, making it a must-visit for anyone craving delicious vegan food.🫶🏼

Google
Delicious vegetarian/vegan food that's well put together. Could really tell the effort the owner/chef/server put in to design the menu. We did the four course (two starters, one main, one dessert). Our party of four all enjoyed the food a lot. The restaurant is super relaxing and unique felt like dining in a private restaurant. The owner was super nice and we had a lovely experience.

Google
Great Ambience and best place for candle night dinner.... Food was really good especially I like dessert. It's a bit costly but great to have dinners occasionally.

We loved it here! Amazing vegan & vegetarian food, cozy atmosphere and such lovely service! My highlight was the limoncello dessert. Definitely a vegan / veggie highlight in Munich!

Wonderful!! The food is incredible, well priced, Bio... I have no other words to describe how much I enjoyed this restaurant. The owner is super lovely and knows her stuff. The menu changes regularly so it keeps it fresh. The design of the inside is comfortable and relaxed but also feels like you are at your families. A must to visit!!!!

This place is quaint, well decorated, and generally you need a reservation. Interesting vegan flavors, but the food was far too salty and oily for our taste. Also unlike some other vegan places in Germany, the menu did not have any demarcation of common allergens.

Yelp
Gerne wieder!

Yelp
I really wish I could give this restaurant a better review. As a vegetarian in Munich, I am so appreciative of Vegelangelo's tasty offerings (the lentil eintopf is my favorite). But after multiple visits, I'm still lukewarm on the place. We've made the mistake of wandering in without a reservation, only to be given attitude (despite the fact that there were plenty of available tables). We've experienced service so slow that we had to go actively looking for the waitress (who is also the cook, owner, and sole person on staff as far as I can tell) to beg for the privilege of buying another round of drinks. In short, while on some visits I feel quite welcome, on others I feel more like a nuisance, which is not really how I want to feel in a restaurant. If you're a vegetarian who finds herself in Munich, Vegelangelo is worth a visit, but only if you are in the mood to be patient over what could end up being a very slow meal.

Yelp
A block or two north of Isartor tower along the road ringing Munich's "central" area, this place is easy to miss but a must for all vegetarian visitors to Munich. You will have to make reservations with Ilsa, the owner/chef, who is a sweet soul. She is Austrian, not German, so you will have a chance to sample some truly Austrian deserts...she speaks perfect English ( as with almost all Europeans, especially in Germany, who speak English better than most Americans do) and can explain everything/anything and handle any dietary restriction. She is an EXCELLENT chef...we ate here several times!

Yelp
The starters, mains and desserts were so tasty. Priceworthy. Friendly staff. Reachable two minutes from Isartor. The interior is very relaxing.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Person who owns it also does the serving and cooking. Very intimate affair. The bread soup was one of the best soups we have ever had! It's worth it to go just for that. Overall the entrees are fantastic too. Nice to get some local cuisine dishes that are vegetarian! Must go for anyone vegetarian in Munich!

Yelp
The food here is excellent. The dishes can be simple but are prepared with care, tasty but not overwhelming. The owner asks for reservations, which can be a bit of a nuisance for foreign tourists, but her English is excellent and she works very well with email, so it's really not a problem. Just one warning: she seems to like smoked cheese a *lot*. I don't. I didn't notice that my main dish was topped with it (to be fair, the menu said so explicitly). So if you don't care for smoky cheese, be careful and be explicit. This place only takes cash. It's easy to get to by public transport. It's not huge, but it does have more seating than many other Munich vegetarian places. The ambiance is lovely, with a fun, cross-language music mix. Even the bathroom(s) are amusing (e.g., the mens' room has a collection of toiletries, including perfumes). But because there seems to be only one person working the whole place, expect things to take time. Don't go here if you're in a rush.

Yelp
Munich is a little bit of a challenge if you are vegetarian but luckily there are a few places, and especially lucky because there is Vegelangelo. This is a small restaurant so i would recommend calling for reservations. I walked in and was lucky that someone had cancelled. The proprietor and server were very nice and accommodating to my dietary needs (can't handle dairy). The menu is limited but sufficient, with three courses. Start with soup or salad, and i started with the salad which was one of the best I've had in a while. It was a nice mix of vegetables, nuts, and other stuff. I was happy already. Main course was either risotto or noodles with truffles. I went with the noodles and they were great. Finally, for the final course I had a chocolate torte with red pepper. Sounds crazy but was delicious. I hope I can make it back to Munich and try this place again!
