Restaurant-Winstub La Dime

We went to this restaurant twice in a matter month for 3 days as it is my husband’s favorite restaurant in Obernai for the food that he likes . The choucroute is really good, not too sour or salty. I love the charming Alsatian decor and the spaciousness of this resto.

Staying in Obernai for couple of days and tried this Alsace Restaurant yesterday for dinner. We ordered tartes flambées Münster for aperitif it came dry and tasteless. For main menu we had Beef Fillet, Entrecôte with vegetables and Pommes. All dry, tasteless, in terms of food quality — very bad for its high prices. Desserts we’re okay nothing spectacular. I’m very puzzled where the good reviews came from?? And whyy The service okay. The Staff and waitress aren’t welcoming, unprofessional, unfriendly most specially if you dont speak french. We don’t recommend this restaurant. Waste of money

We had a very tasty lunch here. The food was freshly prepared, came on a lovely hot plate and was very good for what we paid. They have people in the kitchen who clearly know how to cook. The restaurant was very busy (a good sign I always think) but a table was found for us (we hadn’t booked). After translating the menu and working out what we would order I saw a QR code on the menu sheet for a UK translation - a lesson learnt - look for QR code translations.

Went here with a group and had a great time. Food and service was spot on. We had a fairly large group and there wasn’t a delay at all. Food came out quickly and it was cooked perfectly. Very nice people.

We liked everything! We were welcomed nicely, service was prompt and attentive, food exceeded our expectations and we found prices reasonable. Thank you!

Highly recommended. Very nice lunch in this busy restaurant. Busy for a reason as the food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. Perfect for a lunch stop as its set in a lovely historic and well kept town.

Nice reteraunt, not a five 5, but just nice laid back atmosphere. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was also really good and they have a covered patio, which was nice. If your going to visit Koenigsbourg Castle or just away for the weekend, this place, and the cute little village around it, with shops and stores, is practical and a pleasure.
