While dining in a very good restaurant in Munich we mentioned we were heading to Salzburg next. The manager suggested we experience Zirbelzimmer at the Sacher Hotel, for the last night of our 10 day trip to Bavaria and Salzburg. Our waiter was Tim, he was excellent as was the others who served us. It was a bit quiet, only 4 tables were active, but the overall dinner was superb. Our waiter paired wines with our selections. Don’t miss the Wiener schnitzel, it truly is as anticipated, an outstanding presentation by the hotel culinary team of this traditional dish. Of course, ask for the Sacher cake, a “must” while visiting this beautiful hotel.
