After wandering several nearby streets looking for a place to eat, we settled on Alameda.
It has a nice outdoor space, so you can sit and enjoy the Granada night. Such places also attract the random dudes selling roses, so you may have to shoe them away.
Our server was very nice. We spoke a little Spanish. He spoke a little English and we found our way.
I had the Hamburgesa Iberico, a hamburger made with jamon iberico (ham). It felt like I was eating pure fat. I love meat and fat is part of the bargain, but there was just way, way too much going on here. I could feel my arteries shutting down. Maybe it would be better to make a traditional hamburger and top it with some of that sweet, sweet jamon instead of trying to make the whole thing out of it. Like, we all love a cheeseburger, but no one is just frying a half-pound block of cheese and putting it between two buns.
Alameda is a fine restaurant. My fiancee liked her food. Our grand total for four glasses of wine and two meals was 53.70 €.
I can't say I'd go back here to try something else, but it's not the worst place I've ever eaten.
