If you’re looking for the best place to eat in Ronda, look no further than Albacara. The views are absolutely breathtaking, but what truly makes this restaurant exceptional is something even more memorable than the scenery: the warmth of the service and the incredible quality of the products. More than a business, this place feels like a family — and the moment you sit down, you feel right at home.
Before our meal even arrived, we were welcomed with delicious local touches: fresh olives, olive oil with bread, and crispy toasts topped with meagre pâté. A simple start, but full of flavour and authenticity.
Following the team’s recommendations, we paired our food with two local wines, one white and one red, both outstanding and a perfect match for the dishes.
We then enjoyed boletus croquettes, crispy on the outside and deeply savoury inside. The braised Iberian pork cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the oxtail was rich, comforting and cooked to perfection. To finish, we shared an extraordinary torrija — caramelized on the surface, creamy within, served with ice cream that elevated every bite.
It’s rare to find a restaurant where the view, the service, and the food all compete to be the highlight. At Albacara, everything wins.
Highly recommended — a must-visit when in Ronda.
