If you’re looking for the best place to eat in Ronda, look no further than Albacara. The views are absolutely breathtaking, but what truly makes this restaurant exceptional is something even more memorable than the scenery: the warmth of the service and the incredible quality of the products. More than a business, this place feels like a family — and the moment you sit down, you feel right at home. Before our meal even arrived, we were welcomed with delicious local touches: fresh olives, olive oil with bread, and crispy toasts topped with meagre pâté. A simple start, but full of flavour and authenticity. Following the team’s recommendations, we paired our food with two local wines, one white and one red, both outstanding and a perfect match for the dishes. We then enjoyed boletus croquettes, crispy on the outside and deeply savoury inside. The braised Iberian pork cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the oxtail was rich, comforting and cooked to perfection. To finish, we shared an extraordinary torrija — caramelized on the surface, creamy within, served with ice cream that elevated every bite. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the view, the service, and the food all compete to be the highlight. At Albacara, everything wins. Highly recommended — a must-visit when in Ronda.

Very nice restaurant that we discovered by chance, after seeing the view while passing by. Quite and peaceful ambiance. You can see the whole view of the bridge. All 6 of us ordered different things and we all enjoyed our food. The staff was lovely and helpful as well. I definitely recommend here if you are in Ronda.

Summary: do not come here. There is better food elsewhere. Just had dinner here and was extremely disappointed - I have no idea who on earth decided that the food here was good enough for the Michelin guide. To be fair, the starters were good but the meal was just a straight downhill from there. The mains were not good at all - some were overly salted and my pork cheeks tasted like they could have been cooked in the canteen of a UK school. If you want good views, just book a room in the hotel and stay here - no need to waste your money on sub-standard mains that will ruin your day. I’m staying here and the hotel room is quite nice. Service was fine but even though one of us left our main dish half eaten, they didn’t ask how we found the food and if there were any issues.

Excellent place for lunch with a magnificent view of the famous bridge. The service here is impeccable, and the food is amazing. Fresh bread and lovely olives are complimentary. An amuse bouche is served but is added to your bill. Also, gluten-free options are available here.

My mother and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, which offers the most stunning view of the Ronda gorge. It’s truly a hidden gem. Maria and Jesus were incredibly kind and professional — they served us an amazing wine that we loved so much, we took a bottle home. The burrata salad was fresh and delicious, and the salmon tagliatelle was perfectly cooked. I could have stayed on that terrace all day

Restaurante Albacara is a delightful find, especially if you're looking for a great dining experience with stunning views. Located conveniently down the street from a previously disappointing restaurant, Albacara offered us a warm welcome and a memorable evening. The highlight was the fantastic view of the bridge, which added a beautiful backdrop to our meal. The service was not only attentive but also amazingly dedicated, enhancing the overall experience. The menu featured a variety of well-prepared dishes, and they also offer a special vegetarian menu, making it a great option for those with dietary preferences. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for special occasions or a refined dining experience. Highly recommend reserving in advance to secure the best seats with the most impressive views. Overall, Restaurante Albacara exceeded our expectations and turned what could have been a disappointing evening into a truly enjoyable one. It’s definitely worth a visit for both its food and breathtaking vistas.
