Google
I highly recommend their tasting menu. It was so enjoyable and only 48€ - I had tuna, lamb, venison, pate, and squid; mustard ice cream with the lamb and thyme ice cream for dessert. So delicious and interesting. I've paid much more at Michelin restaurants for a less enjoyable experience. Service was also so friendly and accommodating. Including my bottle of wine, a great meal experience for less than 75€

We came here for lunch, and the experience was amazing. The interior is that of a renovated building, with the patio covered, creating a great set of terraces for the remaining 2 floors. The seats also have couches, making the place cozy. The service is fantastic, the waiter recommended us their best dishes, asked us regarding any food allergies, and then explained what each dish is when bringing the food to the table. The menus also show the approximate wait time for desserts. The food was also fantastic, we ordered the baked turbot, and it was tasty, with few bones, and came along with a great cabbage salad. The marinated boar meat was also tender and juicy, coming with grilled asparagus. The price is quite high, however, I believe it is worth eating here if visiting Toledo.

Hidden gem in Toledo! Great dishes, decoration and food options. You will really enjoy the experience.

Google
Excellent experience! The food was delicious and we couldn't ask for better service. The canniloni and wild boar were great.

Google
Excellent place for some fine dining in Toledo with a great modern atmosphere. Get the Zero km cheese plate, amazing selection of cheeses. The crispy deer on the Caesar salad was a nice touch. The Lamb, I would probably pass on .. too soft and shredded for my taste and it should have been served with real couscous. Dear medallions were excellent as was the snapper. The thyme ice cream dessert with manchego cheese custard was a unique and well thought of dessert. Great service!

I arrived late in Toledo, and my hotel recommended this restaurant. It was fantastic. I had the tasting menu 😋. The food was fantastic. I mean ice cream with mustard served with fillet steak and a small salad. The chef is mad🤔😋. I could go on. I am old-fashioned or maybe just old, but please explain to the staff, just because you are not eating doesn't mean you are finished. Look for the position of the knife and fork or ask before you try to take the plate away or serve the next course. They are trying too hard. Before they leave a section of the restaurant, look at the other clients to see if they need anything. It's a small thing, but I tried to pay my bill 3 times and ended up having to pay at the bar. As I said, small things but I think it will just finish a fabulous experience.

Google
Great restaurant on 3 floors the upper floors looking into a central atrium. The food was well cooked, tasty and presented well. I had the wild boar which you don't see on many menus. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and attentive. We were on the top floor, which lacked a bit of atmosphere but didn't detract from our experience. Definitely recommend.

Google
An absolutely fantastic meal. The offering that day was a beautiful series of starters and entrees and a dessert. The taste of all of it was exquisite. Great selection of wines. You get to watch the chef at work as the seats surround the kitchen. Price was very reasonable for such an amazing experience

Yelp
Upstairs is upscale restaurant, most i paid for dinner during my vacation in Spain was here. I stopped by here during lunch earlier but they were all busy. I booked a table from the app "thefork" for dinner. Downstairs doesn't take reservations and it is more casual bar style restaurant. I started my dinner with croquettes. It was so soft in inside and crunch on outside. After this, I think I ordered croquettes at every time whenever I see one on the menu for the rest of my vacation in Spain. We shared a couple of main dishes, flavor bursted in my mouth from the first bite. Food was perfectly paired with a bottle of wine I ordered and I somehow finished the whole bottle by myself. Just ate food slowly while enjoying every sip of wine. Service could got a bit slow at a time but I wasn't in a hurry to go anywhere, just enjoyed slow dinner. Stylish decor upstairs.

Yelp
Just had an excellent dinner here tonight; the food was delicious and the staff were all friendly and attentive. The setting is so cool with an open indoor atrium and old stone interior. Everything we ordered was delicious including the mixed tapas plate which had; croquetas, tuna tartar, venison filets, and spring rolls. My son and I split the Tomahawk steak and it was absolutely delicious, it was one of the better steaks I've ever had. They even brought it by the table so we could approve it before they grilled. Such a good restaurant and cool interior.

Yelp
The worst dining experience on a Marriot-reviewed and recommended restaurant in the last ten years! I cannot believe they are still open & Marriott having them on their recommendation list was a complete shocker! We arrived & saw the restaurant empty & hot inside (even for EU Standards)--it was 2030 (830pm); we figured that Spain starts dining @ 2100 (9 pm) it's Toledo's small and enchanting city- nope, it was empty, and we left almost at 9:45 pm! The wine selection was fair, but all the wines by the cup were already rancid! They are not well informed on the wines they recommend except to advise they come from Rioja or Ribera del Duero or nearby. The menu was impressive and the description enticing-- it was not tasty, portions were extremely small, even for a de-construction type menu. My cod was not tasty at all & my spouses' plate a salad--unmemorable. Truly not a place I would recommend testing.

Yelp
Something different for me It didn't appear to be a modern restaurant from the outside but stepping inside was like a different place. We were greeted and led upstairs to a table, only to be moved again to an even higher floor. It took a little longer than it should have to get started with drinks. A phrase we learned earlier on our visit to Spain was menu del dia, or menu of the day. Convenient, filling, and available at Alfilerito 24. We took advantage. My meal began with Vichyssoise. My wife noticed the menu stated it would be warm and pointed that out to me, else I would have been disappointed. She knows me, and knew I was so excited to see it listed on the menu I probably didn't read the English part below. She was right. It also didn't have much of a potato flavor to me, I think being so pureed and lacking any pieces of potato just threw off my palate. Venison fillet was my entree choice and I liked it. This is something different for me. Sliced very thin to avoid the meat being tough, it was very good with the sauce included. As a side was a stack of sliced potatoes, making up for the soup and then some. I like that these menus of the day include a dessert, at least the couple we have had on this trip, and my choices was their Chocolate souffle with ice cream. A nice size to finish the meal.

Yelp
Nice restaurant in Toledo. Creative food and presentation. Nice atmosphere and unique layout in older building. A excellent choice for dining . Good service.

Joel C.

Yelp
Service, food and ambience was great Friendly staff. We didn't have much time so we order the tapas, beer and sangria The sangria was great and different from what we are used to in NY. Definitely would go back. The price of the quick meal was reasonable for 4 people. It has a flair of NYC location and yet it keeps a unique atmosphere for Toledo.

Gaby F.

Yelp
Just spectacular! Everything we had was excellent. Service, food quality, amounts... we had one menu of the day( menu del dia) and a couple of dishes from their regular menu. What a great time! Ohhh their croquettes. What a gem this place. Unlike many restaurants this one is actually large. Highly recommended.

Yelp
After all the 5 star reviews, we were anxious to try Alfileritos 24 in Toledo. A medıeval narrow street and unpretentious outside lead to a 4 story atrium with visions of rough sawn beams and stone walls. Surprises are the glass floors to the floor below, something we also found at our hotel. We were greeted Promptly at 8:00 on a Sat night in March. The hostess spoke little English, but a young man appeared, had the right answers and found us a table In the restaurant (not the bar) on the 2nd floor. Realizing Covid was just moving into mirror, we excused slow but very friendly service at prime-time Sat night. The ambiance was lovely (see pix) and the food was very good-Pricey but not outrageous. We read reviews that brought us to their door, and many reviewed dishes were not available, a fresh food restaurant hazard. We ordered Tomahawk Steak to share (1 kg-about 2.2 lbs). It arrived perfectly medium-rare and wonderfully seasoned. French fries were not cooked crispy as requested and an ordered Cesar Salad appeared only after I reminded our latest (new) server. Speaking of servers!. No less than 5 women appeared as our server! That is not how you make clients happy, and partially the reason for only 4 stars. We loved the atmosphere, the food was very good BUT in post Covid good servers are at a premium. Ours were wonderful people, but green. They need more training! House wines (Spanish) are reasonable as are beers. Bottles ran $12+. I would LOVE to go again, recommend without hesitation, but be patient! A wonderful meal in an epic setting are sure to please!

Yelp
This is definitely one of my top modern Spanish restaurants to visit again in Spain. After a long bus ride and walking the narrow streets of Toledo, you would find this little restaurant in the middle of 14th century surroundings. Alfileritos 24 is composed of four floors surrounded by columns, high ceilings and well-lit dining rooms that is brighten by the delicious smells from the kitchen and exciting artwork on the walls. It has a built in elevator to access the floors. Their service was excellent despite the lack of English speaking waiters. Atmosphere was excellent. We pre-ordered a set menu for 42 euros. Well worth the price. A must order are their turbot, pulpo salad, praen ravioli and coffee.

Yelp
We spent a long day walking all over the city, and were pleasantly surprised by this well hidden gem. Upon walking in, we were asked if we were here for the tavern (bar) or restaurant, and we chose to stay downstairs in the bar area. The restaurant was a bit dimly lit, but it was perfect for setting a cozy and relaxing ambiance. Even though the first floor was a bar, there was still table service. The staff was friendly and had little trouble communicating with us in English. The menu was not extensive, but it's more of a quality vs. quantity thing. The Pica Pica was a great option for the price - it comes with small servings of four dishes, which was enough for us to share. The kumato with mozzarella and basil vinaigrette (croquetas cremosas de boletus) was a great combination of crispy and chewy, sweet and savory. The creamy boletus croquettes (croquetas cremosas de boletus) was rich and savory. The roasted potatoes with mojo and ali oli (patatas asadas con mojo y ali oli) was delicious but the least impressive in the set. The grilled deer with mushroom sauce (ciervo a la plancha con salsa de setas) was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful- my favorite in the dish. We ordered the eggplant canes with honey and sesame sauce (cañas de berenjena con salsa de miel y sésamo) which was fantastic- crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, savory with just a hint of sweet. This was my second favorite dish. For dessert, we shared a chocolate lava cake with berries (coulant de chocolate con frutos rojos). At the prices, we could have easily ordered more tapas, but did not feel like we should overindulge as it was still a 15 minute walk to our car. We were very satisfied with our meal and would have loved to return again if we were staying in the area- unfortunately it was a day trip for us and we had to return to Madrid.

Les A.

Yelp
Having menu del dia, and was delighted to be able to get vegetables sin jamon and a lovely, crunchy exterior gluten free roll. Beautiful presentation, delicious salad and panna cotta to die for.

Mike B.

Yelp
The place was a disappointment. Staff unable to accommodate English speakers although menu had English descriptions. Wine and appetizers were great but they tried to bring us squid when we ordered sole for 2. Wine was good. Desert was good. Service was slow and it indifferent. Perhaps you will have better experience.

Lissa B.

Yelp
Alfileritos 24 is split into two parts, a tapas area downstairs and a more expensive restaurant upstairs. We went to the tapas section on the ground floor. They had a menu with tapas and also a set menu for 10 euro. We decided to go for the set menu which included a starter, main dish, and dessert. We all got the salad for the starter and it was excellent. The pork fillet dish was incredible as the meat was so soft. I don't like pork and I really liked this dish. Wow. Unfortunately, the dessert was disappointing. The berry dessert was a syrup that was so sweet and not good. Better to go for the yogurt. The set menu even came with a glass of wine or a beer and they also gave us two complimentary appetizers. Overall this was a great place except for the dessert hiccup.

Yelp
We ended up here for lunch after strolling around the city and this place was recommended by a local. Coincidentally, we have realized later that it is also one of the selected restaurants of Toledo Capital Española de la Gastronomía 2016. And it was better than we expected. This restaurant has become one of our favorites. On the first floor, it serves tapas like a bar and on the second and the third are more like a restaurant type that serve individual dishes and set menus for lunch (I don't know whether they also serve set menu for dinner). We ordered a lunch menu and it was so delicious. Each dish was also decorated nicely. The quality and the taste were really good. The service was friendly. They also served us an extra appetizer and a free big bottle of water. The price was average. Actually we were surprised that it wasn't that expensive because the restaurants was kind of upscale. The setting was also well decorated, clean and bright. All in all, it was a really good food experience. Thumbs up for this one!

Yelp
Great local spot in Toledo. We had a Large event there and the food/service was great. There were so many varieties of tapas that were all tasty. Combine that with some of the best red/white wine, it was the perfect marriage for everything we ordered. Be sure to check out the pictures of the renovation. Crazy to see it transform from an old, broken down building to a work of art. I'll definitely be coming back again.

Jim R.

Yelp
Place - people - atmosphere - great. The meal on the other hand was not as good as what we expected. The Gazpacho amuse bouche was very good - the Sweetbreads with Crispy Blood sausage good but overall had a liver taste. The Cod Cheek Risotto was better but ... The Baby Squid weren't chewy but not tender either. The best dish was the Rolled Baby Pig. So with 2 beers the bill came to around $85. US. Overall- disappointed.

Claire D.

Yelp
The old part of Toledo is very touristy, so it was nice to find a more normal restaurant within walking distance of the attractions. Prices were very reasonable and well worth the extra money compared to other, more touristy food shops (mostly paella/chips/bodadillos) nearby. We averaged about 31 euros per person for 3 people (for appetizer + entree + dessert + wine) . I ordered: -free amuse bouche and bread -pica pica sampler of appetizers -rulo de cochinillo con migas manchegas dulces y salsa reineta -flan manchego con estofado de fruta de la pasión y helado de tomillo -wine The rulo de cochinillo was essentially deep fried carnitas--soft and pull apart pork on the inside and perfectly crispy outer crust similar to pork rinds. The flan was not very flan-like; it was essentially cheesecake, although the passionfruit sauce and lime sorbet were interesting additions. Alfileritos 24 was a good mix of new age and fusian cooking with old Spanish classics (maybe more of a 4 star rating, but it was the best food I had in Toledo by far). I had to catch a super early train out of Toledo, so I wanted to find someplace where I would be able to be done with dinner before 9:30-10pm. We were able to get a table at Alfileritos 24 a little before 8pm, but we were definitely one of the first ones in the restaurant. They did ask if we had reservations, so you might want to book online before you go if it's a prime time of year.

Mike N.

Yelp
The service and score were saved by Estelle. The first waitress was lifeless. Glad to get a table. Food was good. Prices were fair. Decor is outstanding. The first lady must have forgot that Toledo is dead. Most businesses are happy to see customers. Oh well. Alls well that ends well.

Ricardo H.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by a friend and we really enjoyed the food, service and experience. We ordered the "Menu del Dia" (upgraded one) and were seated in the 2 floor. Each member of my family ordered different different first course (soup, salads), different main course (lamb, fish, beef) and same dessert. Very nice plating, presentation, taste and service. You need to come inside and step up the second floor to discover the nice arquitecture and restaurant design.

Cindy G.

Yelp
Walked in after a long day of sightseeing, immediately seated by the attentive waiter at the bar area. He told us the restaurant wasnt open for another 10 mins so we ordered a beer to share. We were then lead to the second floor of the restaurant. Decor was modern and upscale but unpretentious. Lovely atmosphere for a romantic night out. We ordered the pica pica (a four small tapa starter) which included the duck eggrolls with a sweet sauce, foie gras with queso y berry sauce, jamon y queso croquetas, and tuna tartare tapa. Each were delicious choices, but the duck roll was our favorite! For dinner we ordered the roasted suckling pig roll and the wild boar with asparagus. Both were good but nothing to rave about. For dessert we ordered the soufle de mazapan and it was fantastic!

Jennifer E.

Yelp
We sat and ordered Tapas and chose the tapas series for 15 Euros. All but the Tomato was deep fried. The cave setting had a great ambiance with music. There were locals eating side by side with us. They did not order the appetizer series. Next time, we will order off their menu too.

Matthew K.

Yelp
We opted for the tapas room downstairs- the full dinner menu was available upstairs. Downstairs room is a medieval stone room- killer vibe in there. We had both of the venison tapas on the menus- one on bread with melted cheese and the other in a mushroom sauce. Both were awesome! Really good glasses of red wine too. Jamon tapas were also good. Do NOT order the salmon. It's old, rotten, and downright ratchet. Everything else was so good that I'll overlook it and still give this place 5 stars. They also do a venison entree with a cherry sauce upstairs that looks amazing but we were in the other room. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended except for the fish!

Emily H.

Yelp
Eat here!! Such a gem in the already stellar historical Toledo! Off the touristy path, but not far from city center, this place has very friendly staff and delicious, affordable food. There was a "fixed price" menu for less than €12 that includes appetizer, main and dessert as well as a beer or wine or water. We enjoyed he environment so much that in addition to our included wine / beer, we ordered 2 more al a carte (@ €2 de copa- a quien la importa?) the sorbet is FRESH lemon and mint- light and delightful- the tiramisu is excellent!!! I would come back son Lugar a Duda!!

Ari S.

Yelp
Came here for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty crowded. We were given a table downstairs and the ambiance was great. Felt like you were in a secret wine cellar. We ordered 3 dishes between 2 people, would have maybe ordered one more but the waiter stopped us. Here is what we got: aubergines fries with honey, patata asada, and croquettes. The croquettes were amazing but everything else was just ok. The aubergines were very greasy and not enjoyable. Also got a couple of glasses of the Verdejo which was great. Would probably try a different restaurant if visiting Toledo again.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
This is by far the best meal (though tapas) I have in Spain, overwhelmed by the food, it is a must-go in Teledo.

Art M.

Yelp
Super tapas! We just enjoyed a lovely dinner of tapas, wine and a chocolate lava cake with berries for 25€. The venison with mushroom sauce, tender and delicious. Fried anchovies with a citrus dipping sauce, also tasty! Nice sized portions of fresh food in a lovely setting. Do it!

Or F.

Yelp
In a quiet alley this little place is very nice but very dark. Only had breakfast there and it was great with a reasonable prices. Service is great as well.

Phaedon Z.

Yelp
Great tapas! Try the aubergine for sure. We also had the fresh cut jamon (really good), mushroom croquettes (very good), potatoes (good), squid (very good), and pica-pica (it's worth the price, and gives you the chance to taste 4 different tapas) To sum up, definitely recommend it!

Susan N.

Yelp
This place is unique in part because it is a tavern mixed in with the ambiance of a restaurant. Don't get fooled by the name though, as it's not a 24/7 local, although I wouldn't be opposed to such a thing! First, when you walk in you will be greeted by the owner with high energy! Since this place is very popular it is very busy, but I say that waiting is pretty worth it. There are three floors to this place! There is the underground and then there are the upper-levels. Interestingly enough this place was renovated a few years back and it now hold a mixed ambiance of vintage and modern. You can see in one of the upperlevels, the tranformation photos. There are various workers in this building, all willing to make the business run smoothly. While we were patiently waiting for a table, I couldn't help but realize that there was a little bit of chaos with communicating with foreigners. Since Toledo is a very popular town to visit, there are many tourists! The people try to speak english, but it's not 100%. Try not to get frustrated! It is a little bit complicated to get yourself situated, but in the end you will be seated. The owner himself, is very hyper and likes to get things done. Orders are called out and people follow. The food does take a little bit of time to arrive, but once it arrives you won't be disappointed. The plates are aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly filled with flavor. I was very much impressed with the crunchy duck rolls with apple and sweet chili sauce. It contained an intense flavor within each bite. It was a little bit expensive, but it was worth it !

Mathieu F.

Yelp
It's hard to find not too touristy restaurants in a place like toledo. I highly recommend!

Patrik S.

Yelp
Restaurant was cosy, almost like a cave but lit with warm lighting, there was soft music playing in the background during our whole stay. We were two people and we shared: A Pica Pica which was a set of tapas, Tomato with mozarella and basil dressing + Creamy mushroom croquettes + roasted potato with red pepper sauce and garlic maonaisse + grilled venison with mushroom sauce. The least spectacular of them was the roasted potato, however all of them were good. We also ordered a Jamòn Ibreico, a plate of shaved ham. With this we had a bottle of Paso a Paso Tempranillo red wine. The service was great, although we could not understand spanish very well, we (us and the staff) managed to understand eachother well. The food was very tasty.

Helen W.

Yelp
Stopped in here during our visit to Toledo. Very neat setting, good service, and fresh food. We had the green salad with chicken and the tostas - all delicious.

Katie S.

Yelp
The food was great, but our waiter brought out these octopus appetizers and put them on our table without saying a word. We didn't even order any appetizers, but got charged 1 euro each for them. If we would have known they were going to charge us, we wouldn't have accepted them. It was kind of messed up to pull a move like that on a group of younger tourists.

J.C. Z.

Yelp
Food was alright, but the service really ruined everything. I went there for lunch and it took almost 1.5 hrs to finish the meal. There was one waiter serving the entire restaurant (not very busy, 3 or 4 tables) at that time, and he did not speak English. I was given the prix fixe menu and I asked if it was the only menu available. He probably didn't understand but said yes anyways. So I ordered from that very limited options, and 2 out the 3 dishes came wrong because he did not understand what I ordered. After the starter, he took my cutleries and then brought the main course. So I waited for 10 minutes for a fork and a knife to eat with. And finally I had to leave my seat and walked up to the bar to ask him for the cutleries but he did not understand. He came after serving the drinks to other tables and finally came to me and realized what I needed. By the time I finally got the first bite of my dish it was luke warm.

Rosa P.

Yelp
This was our first trip to Toledo, so we looked on Yelp for lunch recommendations. Thanks to all who have posted in the past! We chose their daily special and were treated to a gourmet meal for less than 12,00E per person. The price was fabulous , but the true star of our experience was the food. All plates were perfectly seasoned. Portions were generous. Quality was excellent. Dessert was spectacular Thanks to their homemade vanilla and violet ice cream---delicious. Thank you Restaurante Alfileritos 24!

Brad D.

Yelp
This is an amazing spot for an American on vacation. The atmosphere is amazing and 90's and 2000's music is played in the background. The service is far superior to most Spanish restaurants. The food was very good and fairly priced. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Julia T.

Yelp
Definitely a great place to go for lunch or dinner while visiting Toledo. We experienced excellent service and the food was delicious. The wine, the appetizers, the main course and the dessert were each so amazing that we could not decide which was our favorite. Also very accommodating and considerate of any food allergies.

Carrie O.

Yelp
Quality food, fabulous service & atmosphere @ ridiculously low $. Can't say enough about this place!!!

Jeffrey O.

Yelp
We walked in the place and server asked if we wanted tapas or dinner. We decided for dinner and were sent upstairs. There was only one server and about 5 tables to be served. I was very thirsty and just wanted a water asap but about 10-15 minutes later and a bathroom break, we still hadn't been asked if we wanted anything to drink. We got the impression that if we wanted to eat there, it was going to be a long wait until we could eat, so we left because server came to take our drink order.

Diego Z.

Yelp
Amazing food, service and ambiance. Delicious and affordable. A true find in Toledo! So many options for gluten free and celiac!

Jerry Y.

Yelp
The situation is great but the serve is bad. We ordered four /beef and pasta are good_child love them, rice is too much salty and sushi fish isnot my style. the most bad thing @they dont try to provide us the desset at the end of diner

Jeannette V.

Yelp
We planned a fancy dinner here, made a reservation and ate upstairs. The food was just ok, but the service was awful. Our server was conceited and way too cool for us. It was very off-putting, especially when we were so excited for a nice meal. Additionally, he gave me old wine that had obviously gone bad and I had to send it back. I would think that at a nice restaurant like this they wouldn't save wine over night or would at least taste it before serving it to a customer.

V E.

Yelp
Delicious food. Very well served but with a lack of warmth. Is it shyness? Or is it arrogance? Impossible to tell but that uncomfortable feeling prevails. Otherwise a perfect evening, the 'other' aside.

Naoki C.

Yelp
Tapas here were fantastic. This restaurant was the best tapas restaurant we went during our trip across Spain. As this restaurant is very popular, it would be better you go there before 1 pm to get a table.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
A nice find in Toledo and I'd recommend reservations as places in this small town seem to fill up fast during the tourist lunch hour. Surprisingly, the restaurant has 4 floors. Sitting at the top provides a fun look down amongst the orchids and hanging candles. The menu is fun and inventive. You get the typical pumpkin soup and bread starter. I ordered the half ration of the duck egg rolls and the whole ration of the venison starter. The egg rolls were just as expected with a chili sweet sauce but truthfully you can get these anywhere. The venison was a surprise, coming in thin slices with shaved pieces of manchego cheese on top. The eggplant marmalade didn't have much flavor but the roasted cherry tomatoes and mustard ice cream scoop more than made up for it! My husband ordered the squid entree and it was delicious, five large pieces of rounded squid atop a roasted tomato chutney and black olive tapenade are was great.

Rita G.

Yelp
If you prefer to have a causal, early dinner before the traditional Spanish time of 8:30 or later, stop in here. They serve generous and delicious tapas all day. We found it to be a warm and cozy spot on a chilly evening with good food, a nice beer and wine selection and friendly service. Perfect!

Sunnie M.

Yelp
Very yummy and cool vibe... not too touristy.. a little out of the way. It that's perfect

J R.

Yelp
Stumbled across this place on my first night in Toledo. Quickly learned that the menu on the ground floor was a tapas menu with a restaurant upstairs. I opted to eat upstairs. The decor is modern and interesting with an almost club-like lighting scheme intertwined with a more traditional restaurant scheme. I started my meal with the house salad sans anchovies and the Iberian cheese plate. The salad was fine (as one of the few options for a vegetarian) but the cheeses were outstanding. For my main I had the grilled vegetable plate. All the items were excellent on this dish with the tomatoes as a real standout. Wished it had about four more of them. I finished with the mini doughnuts with chocolate and yoghurt. Yummmmm. It was delicious sweet but not too sweet. The service was as expected, hands off. Having been in Spain for two weeks I've learned that you should not be shy about letting them know you are ready or need something while dining. Just raise a hand and they'll come over. As a bonus, the brought sample gazpacho as a stater which was delicious and a small flan-like sample dessert before the doughnuts. I'm not a fan of the flan due to texture so will not provide and impression of this dessert. My dining companion gladly took mine for their own consumption. They took a credit card during my visit. Would eat here again!

Great service, great atmosphere, great prices! They offered a three course meal that included beer or wine for 10,50€ and the server was a sweetheart... We had an awesome experience!
