Some of the best food I ate in Spain, a cut above the tourist trap restaurants on the parallel street. I would advise making a prior booking. The Olive Lemon Chicken is too die for!!! Other notable dishes were the lamb, pita with hummus and skewers. Desserts with Moroccan tea are a gorgeous way to end the meal. The decor is traditional. The service is very warm, with the owner taking orders personally and recommending dishes after understanding what you’d like.

Delicious Moroccan food. We had lamb and chicken. This is the first time we tried Moroccan food and we enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting a hint of sweet with savory but it worked well. This restaurant is a quick 10 min walk from Mirador de San Nicolás and I’d recommended it.

A Must-Visit Iconic Restaurant in Granada. Dining at Restaurante Arrayanes is an unforgettable experience. Mustafa, the owner, is an absolute delight with his warm Arab hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the chicken tagine and homemade lemonade with mint, which are a must-try. The restaurant’s ambiance is charming, with beautiful decor that transports you straight to Morocco. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy genuine, authentic Moroccan cuisine in the heart of Granada!

Wow! I felt these were home cooked meals. The service was attentive and friendly. The mint lemonade was great. The starter sampler was nice. The hummus was absolutely the best I have ever had, it was soooooo creamy. The house salsa was the best though. We had the Chicken skewer. The lamb with vegetables was so simple and hearty. Dessert was Carrots Orang and Cinnamon. I could eat that dish every day. Service was nice and un-pretentious, we truly felt like guests in someone's home. We didn't have reservations, we were there Sunday at like 1 pm. It filled up quickly. So I can imagine it is very busy during peak hours.

We were recommended to try out this place by our hotel receptionist. It did not disappoint especially since all the food is Halal. The ambience is also nice and the restaurant was a little bit fancier or nicer than most others in Granada. The staff was extremely courteous. We had the pastelas (beef) and the kabab skewers (chicken and lamb). The Baba ganoush was made with eggplant and tomatoes which is a rather south Asian way of cooking eggplant and very different from the traditional recipe. We enjoyed it. We also got the coffee ice cake which was nice ; just too much cream for my liking. Moroccan tea was the perfect end to a great dinner.

You know when you try a place and are made to feel like an honored guest through the whole experience? This is your place. The owner created an experience for us. We never ordered and let him serve us all the courses and it was amazing. We came in hungry and left full and happy. The house lemonade was refreshing, the house salad for 2 was a great compliment of flavors, the chicken Briouat was savory and sweet. I could not eat another thing but want to start over!!! Thank you!!!

Excellent food, service, venue. All the food tasted fresh and authentic. The chicken pastilla was a highlight as was the harira soup! The restaurant is beautifully decorated. In late November 2022, there was construction happening around the restaurant making slightly hard to reach but just ask the shop owners in the area and they will point you in the right direction. Highly recommend!
