Restaurante Asturiano La Galana

Service was excellent and attentive and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere! The croquetas for the starter were delicious, the fabada was also delicious for the main, although the portion was huge! The dessert was average and the Tarta De La Abuela was not authentic in its elements. Overall, I found this restaurant to be good, however perhaps too pricey for what it offers.

It's worth going in to watch the show on how they pour drinks. I had the local food specialty and loved it. The free communal tapas the tortilla de Espaina was excellent. Walked out with a smile, a full stomach. Next time I am in town I will visit again and bring friends.

Fantastic discovery, purely by chance. Truly amazing food, almost far too much of it :-) One main meal would have been enough, but the starters were too tempting. Was absolutely packed by the time we left so very popular and especially entertaining watching the cider being poured at a height for customers!

The service was very good and the atmosphere super lively. It's a fun and exciting experience: we had fish that was prepared right in front of us and it's unique how they pour the cider into the glasses.

Really great atmosphere overall. Pasta too salty and served with burger brioche buns. Fish full of bones - would have expected filet or nice assortment.

Absolutely. Amazing. Fabada is served for 3/4 people (But I ate the whole thing) Plus starter plates. Food quality and taste was superb quality. - Cornbread toasts with local Asturian toppings including blood sausage (its superb, ridiculous flavour) - Fabada - Bean stew with sausage blood and chorizo, best thing you'll eat in the region if done properly. - Cold cuts board with cheese and grilled vegetables. Brilliant service, good wine, good aperitif (Vermouth) And local cider pouring in the splashing shields (A real spectacle to watch and enjoy) Fantastic, TRULY, fantastic meal. Thank you. Go here.

Despite how busy it was, servers were attentive and welcoming! The mini cheese board was the perfect size and offered a good variety of regional cheeses! Prices were fair and the sidra came with a tapa

Local restaurant in the center of Gijón. Tasty tapas and sidra (a must if visiting Asturias). It gets very crowded at nights, but after waiting a litlle bit, you will get a table!
