Restaurante Bar and Grill Viva Zapata Isla Holbox

We were there for an evening snack! Ordered Nacho pollo and Guacamole! Nacho pollo had a huge portion size! Enough for 2-3 people! Food was delicious 😋 Friendly staff, good ambiance! By chance we visited for dinner the next day again! Ordered chipotle fish and chicken fajitas. Chipotle fish was really spicy (I was too brave I guess!). After this I needed dessert but unfortunately they have no dessert menu. Chicken fajita was average. The only thing that I didn't like was the lemonade was too sweet! Even after asking them to make it less sweet it was too sweet for me.

Fish and vegetables were veeeeery good. Definitely reccomeded. We ordered one entire Fish on the grill, veggy & salad + 2 glassesof wine and water. What I also really appreciated, was that I asked for bread instead of tacos and they brought it even warme up.

Wonderful dinner experience. From the beautiful interior to the unique cocktail menue,to the homemade exquisite dinner and amazing staff. This is a must try and go back again establishment!

This place...2 hour wait, at the table, after ordering...for the food. Then, the lobster was burnt, yes burnt; you know, just the way lobster should be when you pay market price per kilo. I literally showed my food to people waiting.... They walked out. Thank God I could help at least one other person out. Then, you couldn't buy the waiter's time to stop by. Spend your money elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Great place to visit for fish and seafood in the town centre. It does have a touristy vibe and the food we had was quite good. It was also recommended on a number of occasions when we spoke to locals, which is a plus! We tried the fish and seafood platter for 2 which was delicious, along with the seafood pasta, and their Zapata Margaritas which were equally tasty. The second time we visited, we wanted a large fish which was brought raw to our table to ensure we're happy prior to cooking, which was a good gesture. We also opted for the seafood soup which was more like a stew however it was tasty, along with some grilled vegetables. Service was good and smiley as well. We were able to pay by card both times with no issues.

Nice place to eat. Food was very delicious. Good quality and big portions. Service was fast, attentive and friendly. We had Fajitas pollo, quesadillas mit beef and grilled vegetables. Guacamole with chips was very tasty. (Maybe to small portion for the price) The hot sauce (yellow one) is really good!

The pictures on Google maps don’t do this place justice, it’s great!! The murals on the walls, the setup of the restaurant and the food! Everything was amazing. Well, my chicken fajitas, were pretty good, the shrimp were better. It’s definitely a great spot to enjoy a sit down dinner or post up at the bar. I loved the fresh made tortillas and the drinks were fabulous.

We had high hopes as the place looks really nice and the staff is also friendly. However after more than 40 minutes awaiting for tacos and guacamole we decided to leave without actually food we ordered and pay just for the drinks we ordered. The cocktail was also nice! Just a pity that the food took forever to arrive, actually it has never arrived.
