Unpretentious and spot on execution, with efficient wait staff that leaves you plenty of space, just the way we like it. We are grateful they offer plenty of half portion options. We get to try a variety of things and they are all wonderful, and oh-so-fresh. I have heard a lot about San Sebastian food, and after visiting this place, I now comprehend.

Located in a less touristy area of San Sebastián this is a traditional place for fresh seafood and top quality fish, although they execute at a very good level on all the menu items. Service is attentive and very professional. The ambiance and dining area decoration looks a bit old school.

Main course (Hake and baked crab) were delicious, but the Appetizers lacked attention: fish carpaccio was drenched in a olive oil, though a good quality, it completely took out the taste of the fish. The foie gras was sill frozen on the inside. Although table service was very good, nobody asked if the dishes were to our liking.

A gem of a restaurant with great vibes, attentive wait staff, fantastic food, and a dog-friendly atmosphere! We enjoyed Pulpo a La Gallega (octopus), Sopa Pescade (fish soup), Panache de Verduras (seasonal vegetables), and Rap Racion Parrilla (monkfish). The fish soup was spectacular and worth a visit on its own. The monkfish was delicious, and the seasonal vegetables were perfectly seasoned. While the octopus was tender, a couple of pieces had a bit too much salt. Overall, this spot offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

Loved the fish cake, one of the best in town. The prawns were finger licking good as well however their fish soup Basque style fish were average in comparison. Generally nice attentive service in a nice atmosphere.

Wasn't bad wasn't good. Looking at the menu, I was very undecided. We ended up getting the seafood platter for 2. It was ok. The souffle came out with a big show but lacked sweetness and needed more ice cream.

Fantastic grilled sea bass and the desert was also excellent. Old lady serving is incredible. Old style restaurant where they cut the fish at the table and serve it and madame manages all the customers herself.

Went back again recently. Monkfish is still fantastic. Tried the Galacean octopus appetizer which was fantastic. We ordered the cheesecake and the familiar pan perdu for dessert. The cheesecake was a pleasant surprise and I would gladly get it again. However I feel the pan perdu used to be better before. It didn’t pair well this time with the sorbet in my opinion. I’ve had it before as you can see in the pictures with vanilla ice cream and it was better. No dings on 5 stars for the whole meal though. — Cozy place with very nice staff. The monkfish was prepared very nicely. Not overcooked but moist and juicy with the sauce. The pan perdu was tasty but heavy. Shareable. I would go again. It was that tasty. They don't open till 8 pm for dinner.
