Restaurante Bococo

We are so happy that we didn’t miss it. Without a reservation, they gave us 1.5 hrs which was enough. The portion was so generous that we only ordered two main courses and didn’t finish them. The staff who can speak English was very helpful, explaining each dish to us in great details. And the restaurant was so nice that they served one dish in two plates for us. We recommend it to tourists visiting Avila. Try the octopus. I loved it.

I visited this restaurant in November, a time when many other establishments are closed. I noted that the few places that are open on a Tuesday often don't begin evening service until 20:30. I'm truly grateful I found this spot. The food was very good, and the portions were generous. The menu offers the usual Spanish fare but with a noticeably wider selection of fish options. The service was top-notch. I returned to my hotel a very happy and well-fed man, ready for my early train back to Madrid the next morning.

The best of the best. I love their desgustcion menu. It is a lot of food for sure but so worth having your stomach exploded because they have such a great food. Highly recommened for special ocasiones

Everything perfect from first minute. Excellent Quality, impressive food with sophistication, taste and presentation.. Menu system allows you to taste all courses in a personal manner. Chuleton is fantastic.. Great wine and service.. Book well in advanced otherwise very difficult..

Perfect place to enjoy a great traditional local menu of a great quality and perfect service. Really original and tasty desserts are the perfect lunch ending.

Walked in without a reservation and were greeted happily, given a without any fuss or time restriction. Recommend the selection of ham and cheese for starters. The food is excellent with generous portions. You can order individually or use the set menu as we did, which was a steal at €40 pp. Service was excellent. Ávila’s best kept secret?

I would give 10 stars if I could. We didnt have a reservation but they accomodated us despite being fully booked. There’s one waiter who speaks English and who helped us a lot to decide which food to get. The food and the service are wonderful.

Supreme. Great taste. Decent price mark. No more to say. Get in there and enjoy.
