I always make a point of coming here when in Lanzarote as it must boast one of the best sea views of any restaurant on the island. Fantastically fresh seafood and impressive wine list. More importantly, the service is excellent. Popular with locals and holidaymakers alike.

Perfect lunch. We were 2 and we reserved a table on the terrasse, the view is amazing! It is like eating in the water. We took an entrance to share and then an “arroce”. Excellent! For 1 entrance to share, 2 main courses, 1 dessert, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine (you have to try the Lanzarote white wine), we spend less than 100€. This was the best quality/price ratio we had on the island. I recommend.

Dining on the shoreline at sunset is probably the best you can experience on the island. Large variety of fish dishes. Don't miss.

Fresh seafood dining under umbrellas by the ocean. It’s the first time I had seen, had tasted and became aware of such tiny squid called “chipirones” locally. Their grilled “prawns” (To my knowledge those are shrimps based on its size. Prawns are huge in my country) were served on a bed of white local salt. Sweet, had good aroma and easy to peel. Delicious😋!

Our experience at Bogavante Lanzarote was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped in, we knew it would be memorable. The attentive staff guided us through a culinary journey with exquisite seafood dishes that showcased the freshest ingredients. The attention to detail in presentation and flavors was outstanding. Combine that with the breathtakingly views, and you have a perfect recipe for an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend for those seeking a dining experience on this beautiful island. The local white wine is also a must.

When a restaurant is not able to offer you food, I think it doesn’t fulfill the purpose and deserves a 1 star. What a shame we had this experience in this actually very sweet restaurant. After a long waiting for the service, we ordered fried puntillas (baby squid), lapas (local mussels), drinks and a menu of the house. The waitress even asked what kind of wine we will like to have which is included in the menu. They brought the cool beer, even the beer glass comes directly from the refrigerator, perfect. I also got my puntillas and lapas. Both delicious. One hour later we finally could catch the waitress and friendly asked about the menu of the house for my husband. She simply said „what menu? you didn’t order it.“ strangely we do received the drink of the menu. Okay then we tried to order it again but she meant it wasn’t possible since the menu is only available until 2 pm (not mentioned anywhere). No sorry, no solution, no redemption. She just left immediately while we were still shocked. Waited another half hour to pay the bill. The service was not friendly, not efficient, actually not existing at all. We waited like forever and my husband had to leave with a still empty stomach.

Nicest sunset view with good seafood - a bit overpriced for what it is (basic not special). But the view is amazing and service was very friendly.

Very friendly and efficient staff and the outdoor seating is well shaded and keeps the mid-day sun at bay. An extensive menu that has a great selection of fish and other seafood. One thing to consider about the outdoor seating is that its situated on "black volcanic gravel". It can be annoying if wearing flip-flops or sandals when the stones get in. Other than that a pleasant and relaxing lunch was enjoyed by my party of four.

Yelp
It was a real pleasure from the beginning to the last moscatel glass that they so give at the end of a meal. We did take the lobster with rice and I must say it was well prepared and the taste was amazing!! I do recommend this place!!

Yelp
I am lucky enough to get to travel around more or less full time and have eaten in hundreds of places. But Restaurante Bogavante has been my number one place to eat for as long as i can remember. In fact, one of the main reasons we come to Lanzarote on holiday is to come here. It's right on the beach, which has hundreds of rock pools teaming with life, keeping the kids happy for hours and hours. And for the adults there is romantic beach side dining, with the menu consisting of just pointing at the fish caught this morning from the bay. If you come early enough you get to see the catch arriving and the chefs cleaning the fish in the aforementioned rockpools. Plus anywhere with a panoramic open air view of waves from the bathroom is my kind of place! Many a lazy day has been spent here over the years, in the warm sunshine grazing on fried baby squid and fish croquettas, plus chilled local wines plus 'leche leche' with brandy! Heaven.
