We walked by this place and wanted to try it since we heard local music and it looked really nice. So glad we had dinner here! Didn't have reservations but we got seated right away. They have a bar and seating upstairs. Really nice atmosphere. Casual but romantic too. Very attentive staff. They had live music. Ordered the mushroom and elote empanadas and the supreme stuffed potatoes, all very delicious! We didn't even need any more food after this as we were stuffed. They also gave us bread and two dips, so delicious! I actually asked for more bread.

Great food, fantastic service. This is off the beaten path from the tourist traps, more of a local place, so be prepared to practice your Spanish. Spicy papas and stuffed papas with steak were fantastic. Cheese empanadas were awesome and make sure you get the flan for dessert... Made in house and the real deal... Yummy! Thanks to Ricardo for taking such great care of us... We'll be back on our next visit to town!

Nice atmosphere, great attentive service. The music selection was very nice and not too loud. The food was well served and prepared. Nothing was overly salty or one dimensional in flavor. Food came out in a timely manner and the waiter was very knowledgeable about recommending items.

When you get tired of the hustle and bustle of the marina, this is a must-eat place to go. Another of my top 10 places to eat in Cabo. The Good; Close enough to downtown, you could walk here, but that just wastes time when you could be eating the fantastic empanadas or the Caprese salad. Besides, there is lots of street parking. My favorite is the short ribs. We normally have a bottle of wine, 2 empanadas (not the sampler as I won't be able to finish my meal), we share one of the salads, and then I have the short ribs and Michele has the beef skewers. All that for just over $100 bucks. The Bad; They aren't open on Monday, but hey, everyone needs a day off don't they?

The ambiance was perfect, classy. The empanadas were delicious, cheese were my favorite! The main dish was very good as well. I had the baked potato with meat that was tender.

From the moment you walk in you know you've come to the right place. The food the service were fantastic, great selection to chose from, I had the steak, and it was remarkable.

We stumbled in here on thanksgiving night and were surprised by how awesome it all was. The empanada sampler is out of this world and about $15. We had short ribs and a jumbo baked potato with mushroom topping, and 2 Cadillac margaritas which were the best in Cabo. Our total was roughly $90 for all of that. So goood!

OMG!!!if you want a great BBQ, this stop is a MUST!! Service is good, if you het hot they have heaters. I really love their rib eye,is one of the best in Cabo San Lucas.

Last year a local recommended that we try Brasa Viva. So glad we made it a priority this year. It's an "off the beaten path" restaurant. Super cute place, with a mural on the wall, very clean and the servers were extremely attentive! Before the meal, the server brought out some bread for the table with two delicious dipping sauces. My husband ordered the lasagne, our adult kids ordered the t bone and the fettucine pomodoro and I ordered the plain potato which was anything but plain! We all loved our food and the waiters remembered that it was my husband's birthday which I had mentioned when I made the reservation. Loved the ambiance, the price is fair and the service was superb!

We had their Potato with the flank steak and their pizza, they were both amazing. The service and ambiance was incredible too! Highly recommend!

This place was delicious! Im not a big meat eater however my party was. There were vegetarian options as well. The sangria was delicious and refreshing! The food and ambiance was outstanding. I love the attentiveness of the staff and they were quick to give recommendations! This will definitely be a go to when I visit Cabo!

Enjoyed dinner here with friends last night! Lighting in restaurant is a bit low, but very pretty. Service was good and staff was friendly. Food was VERY good and flavorful. Hope to come back.

Best Steakhouse In Los Cabos! Super Good Steaks And Great Service As Well Good Selection In Beers And Wine

This was our 2nd time going to Brasa Viva. We loved it so much the first time back in 2022 we couldn't wait to go again on this trip. It did not disappoint. We were greeted by an amazing staff and treated to the most delicious meal in such a beautiful and inviting restaurant. The mushroom empanadas were so good and a perfect appetizer. My partner & I learnt our lesson from last time and decided to share a 17 ounce steak that was grilled to perfection and melt in your mouth to die for. Accompanied with grilled asparagus and tomatoes and the best potato salad we've ever had. Of course we each had a margarita and I had a glass of Malbec too. We left completely satisfied and already we are looking forward to visiting again the next time we're down. We highly recommend.

This place is super chill, ambience is an outdoor setting but enclosed enough that it feels intimate with a beautiful breeze. There is music at a comfortable volume that is low enough to be relaxing and have easy conversation. We did not order food but the drinks were well crafted and the menu ( accessed through QR code) is a think of beauty with varied selections of wines, spirits, nonalcoholic options including mocktails, appetizers, main courses and desserts. Had we not already eaten dinner, I am sure we would have ordered food as well.

Fantastic Lamb and steaks! The potato's are also great! The vegis are very fresh! Love this place!

Stumbled upon this place en route to another steak house and so glad I amended my plans. Food was incredible and the staff was super attentive. Fairly priced and mellow yet lively vibes

Wine Cabernet was bad tasted like vinegar, the steak was bad ordered a Porter House steak medium rare was almost raw, there was so much fat and bone and such a thin cut made the steak horrible. Would not Recommend this place to anyone

Wow. From their mozzarella cheese stuffed mushrooms to their hot hot hot potatoes, we had a wonderful evening on their beautiful patio with a view of their outdoor grill which serves up amazing grilled steaks. And the pitcher of sangria served up with fresh apple and walnut pieces- we can not wait to go back and have more. The menu and sign read Brasa Viva, so do not miss this place!

Quite possibly the most romantic atmosphere in all of Cabo. From the acoustic guitar player singing lovely melodies in both Spanish and English to sitting under the stars in their patio-style restaurant with twinkling light fixtures - and you can't forget about the food. The empanadas are amazing! Everything here is super authentic Argentinean eats. If you're in the mood for meat, they have well-seasoned, supremely juicy steak coming your way. You know you've walked off the beaten Cabo path and ventured into locals territory when you can't communicate well with the servers and you're the only tourist there enjoying the evening. Happy to have come across this place by chance and I highly recommend it. Do get the clericot!!! Get a pitcher! It's Mexican sangria and I loved it.

Quite honestly the BEST meal we've ever had! We had the mozzarella stuffed mushrooms, elote empanada, Cabo salad, asparagus, spicy potatoes, and split the flap steak which was like a filet. All of that food plus 2 cocktails and a corona came out to a $75 USD meal! Splitting the steak was plenty it must have been at least a 12oz steak I didn't ask, but I was eating some of my lady's because she couldn't finish and I was definitely full after everything! Everything was amazing especially the stuffed mushrooms and steak. We will definitely come back next time we come to Cabo. It's a little off the downtown strip, but get an Uber it will be super cheap and well worth it!

Easily our favorite steakhouse in Cabo! Everything is delicious. Great atmosphere, great prices. A must when in Cabo!

There were 8 of us last Thurs. night...a variety of peoples' tastes...all of us would return in a heartbeat. The steaks were amazing...a baked potato...stuffed with assorted stuff was a meal in itself. All was great...especially the service. Just do it!

We had the flap steak. It was amazing. Great service and atmosphere.We will be back.

Rib-eye steak was as thin as the bottom of my loafer and was more than 50% fat. Do not order the rib-eye. To top it all of when I told our waiter that the steak was fatty, he said it was marbled...The margarita pizza was decent but not that good, was slightly Burnt and would not recommend. Everything else was good. But the steak and the pizza screwed it up. There is probably a good steak here but not the rib-eye. The place itself was nice and well kept.

Definitely a very romantic setting as one of the yelpers said. The music was wonderful. The food was amazing. The drinks were awesome. Off the beaten path gem. Worth a visit into locals territory. :)

Stumbled upon this restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that it was quiet and intimate. Beautiful inside with great staff. The steak was amazing! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

Wonderful Argentinian, live music, amazing sangria, elegant cuts of meat. Hubs & I always stop-in when in town, although a little hidden behind downtown.

Saw this place while driving to our Villa and decided to walk to it one night for dinner. So glad we did! We had a group of 10 and they were able to accommodate. The restaurant has a very open and chill vibe with nice lighting and the grill right by the tables. We noticed that it was entirely locals there besides us which is a good sign. The staff was very quick and attentive. We had a few bottles of really good Mexican wine as well as some shots of mezcal which they served up with a chili salt and orange slices. We got multiple rounds of every empanada, we decided that the mushroom and elote were the absolute best but all were very good. Most of us got a steak as a main. I got the Teres Major and it was very juicy and rich. The ribeye was also fantastic. The Tbone was good but too thin for my taste. We also got the grilled corn which was ok but I have had better, it would be nice if it was served with spiced mayo/cilantro, etc. We all enjoyed our meals very much and there wasn't anything ordered that people did not like. Will definitely be back.

This place has incredible steaks...some of the best I have had...anywhere.. not just Mexico! Also had grilled asparagus and mushrooms con queso...both were excellent

INCREDIBLE! We were so tired of having crappy sub par food for full price everywhere we went. We tried Brasa Viva at the recommendation of a local and we were SO GLAD we did! The ambiance was adorable, our group of 6 arrived for dinner and to celebrate for my sisters birthday. The waiters were so attentive, and professional- we speak English and had no communication issues. You HAVE to order their mushroom appetizer. I have never tasted anything so incredible in my life. I'm going to be dreaming about them now. Our group ordered steaks- I had a flank steak medium rare and it was unbelievable. The flavor was so delicious. The others in my group had the flap steak and they were huge! It was literally two steaks per plate. We could have shared. One of our group ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and she said it was flavorful and possibly some of the best she's ever had. She also had left overs it was so much food! They made my sisters cheesecake special for her bday with a candle and Happy Birthday decoration. So accommodating. Overall I CANNOT explain enough how happy we were that we gave it a try. It made our entire trip. Thank you!

Great food and service - flank steak was really good - cooked perfectly. Margaritas were good as well as the cheese fondue. Food came fast and waiters were very friendly and accommodating. Best place we've eaten in Cabo and very affordable- maybe $30 USD.
