Restaurante Caballito de Mar

I recently ate at Caballito de Mar in Palma and honestly loved the whole experience. The restaurant sits in a stunning spot right by the waterfront, so you get those beautiful marina views that make the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the Mediterranean vibe puts you at ease right away. The food was delicious, especially the seafood and rice dishes, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel looked after ;,) Highly recommended!

we were seated almost immediately we had some lemonade and some appetisers. We enjoyed the chicken croquettes, the baby squid, the salad with shrimp.

Very beautiful restaurant in a great location. The view is amazing and I loved the atmosphere. The food was really good, we got fish and desserts and they were both great. The service was a bit slow. The waiters were super nice but I feel like they were a bit understaffed maybe as they were always in a hurry and you had to ask for things quite a few times before getting them. Overall it was a positive experience.

Beautiful restaurant and great food!! We were 1.5 hrs late for our reservation but they were extremely accommodating even though the restaurant was super popular. We got the seafood paella, buratta and the crème brûlée for dessert. The drinks were great. Excellent food!!

Amazing quality of food, all of the sauce on the point and unexpected flavors. The head chef deserved for the Michelin star. I’m so appreciate to being here.

Lovely terrase and lovely personal, Daniela welcomed us soo sweet, Paolo took notes and served us a DELICIOUS courses, we had Lobster Paella and Steak Paella. OMG out of this WORLD!! We ordered some desserts, I cant describe how tasty they were. I recomend it, we will come back surely

They have live lobsters displayed in refrigerators. This is inhumane treatment of animals. Cruel. Is this the 21st century?

Food was OK, but we had better food in Palma. We were referred to Caballito by a local as a great paella spot, although I feel it was a major tourist spot. My husband and I shared an appetizer (Andalusian style squid with aioli of squid ink) and a seafood paella for 2. The squid was actually calamari with a hint of squid ink as décor. Calamari was good, nothing we haven't tasted before. The paella was good, although they overcooked the seafood. There was however, plenty of seafood for my husband and I to enjoy. The venue has a great view, especially if you want something a little more romantic.

Excellent service and great customer service. The food was delicious and the chef was very friendly, very creative with the food and presentation. If you are in Mallorca, this restaurant should be a must.

Excellent service; from arriving to ordering, about 5 different waiters catered to us in every way. Very personable, polite, and attentive staff. We've tried paellas in Madrid, Barcelona, and now Mallorca, this one has been the best; we had the Paella Mixta, Amazing! Great spot, super treatment, and delicious food!

Quite a touristic place but the location is great. We had seafoodpaella and mixed paella and both were absolutely amazing. Make sure to go there with bug hunger because tje paella portions are massive! However you must be at least two people to order a paella. From experince, if you are four people, take a paella for 3, it will be more than enough for 4. As desert, we took mascarpone with strawberries which is always amazing:)

With the exception of the very charming waitress named Coumba, I had a very disappointing experience at Caballito de Mar. The fish and paella looked amazing but were not available to me because I am traveling solo. I went to his restaurant because my hotel recommended this spot and I wanted to be outside. It's SO gorgeous in Mallorca! However, I was served a very low quality cava and my steak was barely cooked even though another waiter and I both agreed on medium. I'm sad to report this under par meal. I would recommend going with a group and trying many dishes, the steak not being one of them:)

Went in for a snack a little after noon, food wasn't good at all and the service, not even worth mentioning. Ordered an appetizer to start, but the waiter was in such a bad mood that we decided to go eat elsewhere instead of staying for our mains.
