Callizo

Visited this restaurant, located in the charming villa of Aínsa in Huesca, just before they were awarded their first Michelin star. Very well deserved. Their service is impeccable, both professional but also personable and attentive. Creative dishes of high quality produce. Very nice presentations and great start to the experience with the aperitif served at their wine cellar area.

What an amazing experience we had at Callizo! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and partly speaks several languages, the setting and the view are amazing and their approach to enter in very small groups, makes it feel very personal. We loved the regional inspiration of the dishes and all the dishes were delicious and surprising, as were the wines, that were well presented. Having dinner at Callizo is an experience you won't forget! Go here, don't read too much ahead but let the staff surprise you and make sure you're in time, to enjoy the whole experience fullest. We hope to come back in the future.

Amazing. The food, the view, the ambiance and of course- the service. It's more than just a meal, it's an experience that enables you to really sense the area. Everything was perfect, and there were even accommodations for pescatarians! The price isn't low(and not so high given the value) but definitely worth it:) Most of the products are regional and fresh, and the waiters tell you the story of each dish. Come hungry, there's a lot of food! Absolutely recommended

Phenomenal experience. Very different dining journey, (don't want to give too much away as it's a great surprise) All the waiting staff were superb especially the wine sommelier William who was fabulous; super knowledgeable, fun and engaging. An unforgettable evening! Highly recommended.

Our favourite restaurant by far. Travelled here especially. The experience and how they create dishes to reflect history and nature is incredible. We added the cheese course and geopark this time. Amazing!. It was the most delicious and incredible afternoon. We love the light hearted aspect of dining here. Not pretentious or stuffy. Worth every penny.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant and we highly recommend you to go. We chose the Piedra Menu and we were surprised for how many delicious plates we had the chance to try. Is is not just a dinner it is a unique experience as every plate says a story. The view from the restaurant it is breathtaking , unfortunately it got dark pretty quickly and we were not able to enjoy it for long. The only constructive feedback we have is that the bread was delicious but left a lot of crumbs which got more and more on the table and it was a little bit disturbing ( if the table could be cleaned during the different set up when necessary I think it will make a difference . Also it made me a bit sad as I mentioned when I made the booking that it was a special occasion and I wanted to surprise my wife , I also reminded to the manager in charge and unfortunately nothing happened … Overall I can only say that everything else was perfect and I think it is an experience to be lived .

Amazing experience at restaurante callizo! It was a full day experience: from the start at the bodega to the journey through Pyrenees on a plate the experience was more than your average high quality restaurant! Get to know Aragon’s culture, the chefs and be inspired by such an interesting combination of flavours! We had the piedra menu and the plates just didn’t stop coming! The staff timed everything perfectly and at the end we had the opportunity to enjoy the restaurants terrace, which for us was a lovely highlight! Highly recommend!

Very nice experience with this amazing Michelin restaurant! I have diet restrictions and they took such great care of me and my friends. When I am in the region I will go back for sure!

I would say that this restaurant is an interesting one. We came at 14:00 for two. The place is stunning and nice. We took the launch deal for 28.5€. The starters, that are miniature but surprising in the way that served. But after a few of theme, U may ask what about the food!? Its too long. After about an hour and more they serve the main dish, good. The deserts are very good. Very interesting, too many and too small starters. I would recommend to reduce the numbers and increase the portions. Summary: a new refreshing approach, food and entertainment!!

This restaurant is amazing. My favorite part was some of the pig it was covered in pasta and had the perfect balance of sweetness in a little bit a savory. I love how they always had the perfect blend of sweetness and savory and made the food taste excellent. In conclusion this restaurant was really good it deserves the 5 star rating.
