Wow! Wow! Wow! The Best Meal in A Guarda! ​Chupa Ovos is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive. We started with the tuna croquetas and the smoked sardine toast—both were sensational, with an incredible balance of flavors. The house Albariño was so good we had two bottles. For our mains, the Grilled Octopus and Grilled Cod were cooked to absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. This was easily one of the best meals I've ever had. If you're in Galicia, do not miss this place. You just have to try it!

The waiter gave me a QR code to scan the menu in English, and also gave me a local menu which he offered to translate if I needed it. I appreciate this very much. I just asked him for recommendations, and he said the scrambled eggs with shrimp and ham would be good. It was really something! It was filling and delicious. The house wine and the Chef’s cup were also good. Not to mention the coffee with milk I also had after. Gracinhas!

Excellent service, amazing gourmet food. Very popular - we were lucky to get a table as it was all reserved apart from the three tables outside. Highly recommended.

A first time experience eating cod this good. My girlfriend ate octopus. I tasted her octopus and it was delicious. The red wine to accompany was local and also it tasted amazing.

One of best restaurants in A Guarda friendly service. They have excellent tapas and an extensive wine list. Specialities include an enormous range of home made croquettes, octopus, fresh fish and shellfish & scrambled eggs. Not easy to find climb the steep steps it'll be worth it.

If you want to enjoy authentic Galician cooking this is the place for you. Whether it be seafood, fish, croquetas or meat the quality is exceptional and while you wait for your food to be served you can see it being prepared because the kitchen is separated from the dining room by glass. The wine list is extensive and the home made desserts are scrumptious (try the filloas for example). Last but not least the service is excellent!
