Superb ribs! For a tourist town, this is where the locals eat. Bar staff were happy and friendly. Authentic flame grilled meats. Great value.

Excellent homemade food, ribs and soup, (fish and chicken) particularly. very reasonable prices and price / quality parity , one of the best we have tried. The service was also excellent, the best in town among the places that we have tried.

Very good place for eating meat on the grill. Located near the Colegiata de Santillana del Mar. Nice dinning room and very good service. Highly recommended in Santillana.

At this restaurant we had the best meal so far on our tour of northern Spain. Dinner started at 20:00, but get there a few minutes early and have a glass of wine cause I noticed that they fill up quickly. There is an open bbq area inside the restaurant where the cook is busy grilling these yummy looking ribs and steak. The service is great. When we were there, two young women were waiting the tables and both were very attentive and friendly despite the language barrier. Note: the menu is in Spanish and English for those of us who want to try the local cuisine yet don't speak the language. We had the traditional basque dish, cocida Montanes, couldn't get over how delicious it was!

I've eaten here several times before with good food but last night was a disaster and not to be repeated, being the first to dine in the evening the ribs were dry and obviously the left overs from lunch and the chorizo was inedible and looked like it had been cooked to death the day before. I will never return there 😡
