Best meal in Spain on this trip, we had the Cantabrian stew, the meat was falling off the bones & tender with a lovely local taste. The house beer was also very good!

Quick, friendly service, tasty food , good sized portions, cathedral view, fabulous value. I loved this place. Not fancy but I feel plenty of places in this tourist town where you'd pay more for no better. Lots of lovely restaurants in Santillana del Mar but I'd come back on another holiday.

Ordered food here last night. We Ordered ribs, sausage and chips each. The manager came over and said we have Ordered to much food. So we ended up ordering one portion of each, which was very good. Very reasonably priced for such a beautiful village, would definitely call back to the restaurant.

Superb ribs! For a tourist town, this is where the locals eat. Bar staff were happy and friendly. Authentic flame grilled meats. Great value.

Very delicious and home cooked cocido montañés, Cantabria cheese sample, roasted lamb totally amazing service!

They have a real pit for good Parrilla! Had the costillas. Portions are huge for one. Ask for the picante sauce for the ribs. 👉 Attached menú pics for your perusal

Tasty salad, although I would prefer to put vinegar and oil by my taste. Nice staff, too
