Restaurante Casa Tataguyo

Loved it. Definitely eat here, went two nights in a row. No need to try a different place. Staff was excellent and food was great. Octopus fantastic as well as the homemade ice cream. Get a bottle of cava and you won't be disappointed.

Incredible Asturian food and wines in a very traditional old building. Nice friendly and attentive staff. Can highly recommend this place but please make a reservation because it is very popular, day and night, every day of the week!

Wonderful place. Really authentic and filled with aesthetic. Food is delicious and greatly served. Staff of the restaurant is really helpful. Although I don’t speak Spanish waiters tried to do their best to serve me dinner. Definitely will come back here when visiting Aviles again.

So maybe we got them on a bad day but we weren't made to feel welcome sat us right next to the front door which was cold and windy with everyone coming in and out they were very friendly to the locals to the point of walking round with a tray of free tapas which was offered around to the locals i guess and we where bypassed not a nice feeling we where then taken to the restaurant which was empty we where a bit earlier than 9pm the food was good to be fare especially the octopus which was amazing such a lovely place it would have been so much better to have had a more friendly and welcoming experience

It's a great experience to eat in one of the oldest restaurants in Spain.

It was a impulsive stop to just get food after a long week of cycling all around Asturias, but this wasn't just a place to fill our hunger needs it filled our hearts. We ended celebrating our marriage anniversary and our baby that's on the way, it was such a special place we had to change it into celebrations! We are going back to South Africa fuller, not only with a great Spanish trip memories butnthe memory of this special restaurant, the man that served us with so much patience (translating) and even the other guests that was there was lovely and THE FOOD was out of this world!!! What a way to end our Europe adventure after 2 years living abroad and ending it here. We are thankful! Absolutely lovely place!! Chris & Emri 🇿🇦

Nice authentic Asturias food. Fabes con almejas were very tasty, the only minor things to mention is that we wanted to share them and try other stuff and they charge us for two portions. But still very worth It, authentic place and good quality
