Restaurante da Associação Naval do Guadiana

Our 2nd visit to this amazing restaurant. The view over the river is fantastic. The staff are excellent and attentive and very helpful. Then there's the food it was just so well presented and looked and tasted wonderful. We will be back.

Excellent food and service, meat and Fish witam very good quality reasonable price.

Stopped in by myself for an early dinner. It was self seating and I was able to find a nice table with a clear view of the harbor all the way across to Spain. The waitress spoke no English, but did have a menu in English for me to look over. I got by with my limited Portuguese. I chose the seafood paella. The rice and sauce was the proper consistency. I would have liked more seasoning and fresher ingredients, but it was good enough for me to want to finish the dish. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back after exploring some more options.

This seemed better than it actually was. We had two types of paella and they were both fine. Just fine. Tasted okey and that was it. The restaurant was lightly lit and wasnt particulary nicely decorated. The Staff was Nice.

Stopped in at lunch about 1:30 without a reservation to see if they could accommodate us. The attitude we got at the door was more than cold. They acted like this was a huge inconvenience when the restaurant was only about 25% occupied. It never did fill up but where we requested a table they wouldn't allow it. The wait staff itself we're very nice. I wasn't up for seafood today so 2 of us just ordered the hamburger which came on a plate with no bun and a few fries and some dry lettuce leaves 12.50 euros. It was so overcooked that it was hardly edible. It was served with a steak Knife which I thought was a funny thing but it turned out you needed it to try to cut through that overcooked hamburger. Neither one of us could eat it. The staff never questioned why lunch was left on the plate. Really disappointing

Filete de Atun was fantastic! We also got a great bacalhau dorado in this very beautiful restaurant.

My initial comment is about the staff of this establishment. Our daughter lost her purse during the day and that's the end as far as we were concerned. We went into the cafe the following day and the purse was returned to my daughter. The food and service were excellent. A big thanks for your honesty.

I think I ate here a total of four times during my stay. Only because they were across the street. Obviously location in the marina is wonderful, restaurant in general is very clean. Overall the food is just average and a bit overpriced, but you are paying for location. My biggest issue really was how over worked and tired the wait staff seemed! I’m not sure who the owner is, but you are understaffed! Your employees are not happy and very clearly passing that energy onto your customers.
