The best rabas that we’ve ever eaten! Everything was good!

Loved our dining experience here the other night. The attention from every one of the staffs, both in the bar area and in the restaurant, was excellent.. the seafood was top quality, and the ambiente was perfect. Would easily recommend to others

A RIP OFF. We had already been at this place a few days before and had ordered 2 Negronis as we did tonight. The waiter brought us the 2 drinks and then I saw that my glass was broken and the negroni was pouring out of the glass. I told the waiter that I wanted a new glass and expecting a new drink, too. Only when I told him that I wanted a new drink, he made one. When I ordered the bill the drinks cost us 20.60 Euros. I told the waiter that a few days ago the drinks had cost 16 Euros. He told me his colleague might have made a mistake a few days ago and that the negronis were special cocktails. They made a lousy job and I as customer has to pay for their mistake. I call this a rip off and would have expected a more customer friendly approach. I cannot recommend this place and will not go there again, that is for sure.

We were privileged to meet with Antonio and his family (who happen to be the owners!!) whilst visiting this gorgeous restaurant in September last year - and we can’t wait to return in May as the quality of food, the service and the atmosphere are exceptional

Restaurant "El Puerto" is the most popular seafood restaurant located in Santander, Spain. It is situated in the heart of the city, near the waterfront and the port area. "El Puerto" is known for its best and fresh seafood dishes and traditional Cantabrian cuisine. Its a must in santander. The service is outstanding. The restaurant offers a variety of seafood options, including fish, shellfish, and other local specialties. Some popular dishes you might find on the menu include grilled fish, seafood paella, mariscada (a seafood platter), and rabas (fried squid rings), gambas gabardinas among others sea food specialties. They also serve traditional Spanish dishes and have an amazing selection of wines and beverages to complement the meal. As with any good restaurant, it's a good idea to check to make reservations .

We had a wonderful lunch with oysters, croquettes de gamba and for the mains seabarsh and tarbot. Of course with a good glass of white Rioja. Loved it.

Good location but pricey. Young waiter was friendly but older waiter was not and made to feel uncomfortable ordering just drinks. Would not go back!
