Went on a Jeep and there is a short stop in Fataga. Tourists are encouraged to eat at the restaurant where the Jeeps and Coaches park but just across the road you can find this little gem. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the views are stunning and the decor of the restaurant is beautiful. A lovely finish to an adventurous day out around the mountains of southern Gran Canaria.

Charming small restaurant with lovely mountain view. We had a table outside on the terrace. I really enjoyed my meal. We took few tapas dishes, everything was really delightful. It's not some fancy place, it's very simple but tasty food. Reasonable price and very friendly service. Worth to stop for few tapas.

An easy place to miss when visiting Gran Canaria. But this route to the summit passes this beautiful little village with stunning views.

I am not sure if it is just me but the experience of this place was just not up to the high standard of service and food I experienced in Tejeda. The reviews pointed towards good service and food and I would say that one out of three people serving us was actually pleasant. When it comes to food, it was average, the cheese was nice but lacked the glaze all over and the goats meat just did not have any salt. The highlights were the boiled potatoes and aioli. Views were also passable but not bad.

We stopped for some refreshments on our way up the mountain. Nice coffee, great view.

Firstly, mind the negative reviews, those are all for the previous owners! Great, in one word. Good homemade food. At least what we took. Typical Spanish stew's and cooked food. Great views, and the service and friendliness is a 10+, from all of them. I'm coming back asap. I have visited, without exaggerating, 1000s of restaurants. Trust me, you are going to succeed. My only tips, communicate better with the kitchen. A stew that is already cooked and only needs warming up, it can go out in 10 minutes. And provide a bit better shade! 😀

Simple food, real canarian food. Good value for money as it is quite cheap. The waitress was curt and clear. When you sit on the back terrace you have a great view of Fataga and the mountains. Recommended if you are passing through.

Came for lunch as part of a tour at the recommendation of the local guide. The food and service were really good, we had the chicken with breadcrumbs and the goat meat. You should definitely try the goat if you didn't have it before, it's cooked as a stew so it doesn't have the strong characteristic goat smell, but tastes a lot like a good beef. Would totally recommend!
