Amazing restaurant in Consuegra. Food was excellent and the staff were delightful. If you want a pure culinary experience from La Mancha of the best quality, “El Alfar” is the place to go. Special mention to Antonio (owner of the restaurant) who made us feel like at home. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Needed a spot to eat while we were visiting the windmills and we were pleasantly surprised. We got their set menu #3, which was more than enough for the 4 of us. The chef owner even went out of his way to explain the dishes and talk about his inspiration for adding them to the menu. The tempura fried cod was the best part.

Had a great meal! Loved the n.1 menu, especially the bread crumbs with chorizo and grapes and the chocolate cake for dessert! Would return

One of the best places to visit in La Mancha area for food! Goat leg was something unforgettable, and the service by Fransisco, his friendly attitude and his recommendations about what to eat and to drink were exceptional. Thank you, surely to visit and to come back.

This restaurant is fantastic. We were passing by Consuegra to visit the windmills when we found this jewel. First, top-notch service. A service from the heart not only from the regular staff but also from the chef and the owner. A must for people enjoying top quality, local produced food and ingredients. The place is stunning, and the owner restored the old ceramic factory to its best splendour. Mix it with a lovely patio, 5 stars, local produce food, and the most personalised service I ever saw...well, the visit is mandatory!.

An excellent restaurant situated in a picturesque potter's yard and hides behing large wooden doors in a least expected village, Consuegra. Everything we ordered was excellent, but some of it was simply divine, for example the "croqueta boletus", entrecot and the chocolate ice cream. Absolutely sublime. The restaurant itself is decorated by pottery and keeps a restored kitchen and old tools. The place is clean and homey and the service is very good. The chef comes to speak with you and the owner as well. The prices are more than reasonable and a full lunch for two amounts to only 65 EUR. We had a lovely time and will def come back.
